Oh good Lord, well worth the wait, the tacos, well the tortilla was huge. Delicious. The place itself is small but very homey, cabin like. A must place to visit!

One server, takes forever to Refill my coffe.

What was once a gem of the city is sadly limping past it's prime. Hour wait time for an order coupled with tasteless meals reveal how ownership has lost touch with what made it good. The overcrowded restaurant adds to the tension and anxiety of overly long wait times for meals. All of this takes place while the owner sits at four top and uses it as his own office space. It's almost laughable, but it's rather sad.

Food was very good & authentic. From what I understand the new owner has 2 restaurants in Matamoros.

The food is delicious. We usually get menudo and migas zuisas.

Food Good- Service not GOOD!!!! Girl took long to get my Coffee. Gave coffee to another customer that came later FIRST. I Have been there before EXCELLENT service. This time it wasn't.

Always a really good breakfast place. For the price you get a very good meal with comparable service. Must have a flour tortilla.

Best Mexican food for breakfast especially the Gorditas de Manteca. The owners are very special people and the staff give great service. Looking forward to going back ☕

My wife and I have frequented this establishment for years, and we really enjoy the warm smiles from the wait staff, and the delicious food. Best pancakes in town.
