Excellent coffee and excellent customer service!!!

My email to Independence coffee co:

Hello,

I recently bought a 50 count box and one of the pods was empty. It's actually funny having this little pouch full of air and I was wondering if that is my golden ticket to a lifetime supply of jet fuel coffee?

All joking aside, I am a frequent buyer of the jet fuel single serve pods 50 count and want to just say we absolutely love the coffee. My wife and I were laughing regarding my comment and with everything going on thank you ,although not attentional, for putting a smile on our face.

Jet fuel is the BEST!
Thank you,
Victor

Response:
Can I have your address Victor?
I would be happy to send you a couple of pods to replace that one for you!
Thank you,
Savor Your Independence!

Hands down best coffee I have had. I have purchased high end coffee from companies and tasted all over the world and this is hands down one of my all tome favorites. I found them from a friend of mine posting about it so I tried it and have been purchasing bags ever since. Highly recommend!

Thanks you for putting out a great product at a good price! 🙌🏼

My wife and I had lunch here. Came for the coffee and stayed for lunch. The Roast Beef on Rye was stupendous! My wife said the Chicken Salad with cranberries was the best she has had in any restaurant! Service was fast. The cafe was very clean and neatly arranged. Tables were cleared quickly after guests left. Katie the server, was very professional and helpful. Other guests dining wanted specific items not stocked in the bins. Katie went to the storage facility, outside, in another building, found the items and returned to the customers, to complete the sale. She gives a new meaning to the words, "customer service." Do yourself a favor and find this place in front of the Independence Coffee Roasters. A little hard to find. Watch for a rustic looking two story building attached to a newer strip center. It's just a little bit west on 290 past the Highway 36 overpass.

We buy locally roasted Independence Coffee for our two bed & breakfast houses. It's very good coffee but for us we need a smaller frac pac because the 2 ounce portions cause our brew baskets to overflow.

Coffee is spectacular and very reasonably priced. The Madelyn’s Backyard Pecan is my go to. It’s heaven in a cup folks. Let’s talk about this tea. They put them in easy brew filters to use in your coffee pot if you want. Each filter pouch make a gallon. The mango and peach are equally good, if it were in a can, it would replace my favorite soda (coke) Get some today! ~ Charlie H.

Great place to get good coffee, tea and munchies and hang out for a bit on the west edge of town. Perfect stop as you make your way from Austin to Houston. Independence Coffee is all about the roast and they care about their product. Staff is wonderful and helps you with a smile. The ambiance is great too. All around, this is THE local coffee stop.

Best small bean roaster in Texas according to my wife. We drove two hours from Houston just to get some of their whole bean coffee. The shop is currently in the warehouse way behind the new building currently being constructed. Can be hard to find if you don't know it's hiding down the gravel road in the warehouse. Worth a stop!

We love the Jet Fuel whole bean with our Brevel Barista espresso machine! My husband also loves the Jet Fuel in keurig Indie shot. They brew every time and have always been fresh! We found this coffee at HEB while working in Texas. When we got back home to Missouri, we continued to order it. It has been 3 years and jet fuel is still one of our favorites!

I bought the Madelyn's backyard Pecan at my local grocery store and it has not disappointed! This is so aromatic and flavorful! I use it to make cold brew at home and I'm obsessed! I'll definitely be trying other flavors as well. If I ever drive through Brenham, I'm for sure stopping by!

We have an office in the Atrium building directly across Main Street from the Courthouse, and I work there every Monday and Wednesday (the rest of the week I work in our office near the Houston Galleria). Most Mondays I walk to Independence and grab a cup of coffee for myself and occasionally some for the rest of the office.

The coffee is very good. More importantly, it is much cheaper than most of the chains. I think a twelve ounce cup of "Joe's Diner" (the house blend) is $1.28, tax included. The sixteen ounce cup isn't much more.

The staff is SUPER friendly. For example, they won't take credit cards on purchases of less than five dollars. I was out of cash one Monday and was only buying one cup of coffee, so realized that I wouldn't be able to complete my transaction. The staff gave me my cup of coffee and just told me to remind them when I returned the next Monday and I could pay for it then.

It's a neat store with friendly staff in a beautiful part of Brenham. I highly recommend it.
