Dos Chiles Grandes Cafe

The welcoming staff allowed us to take cover at Dos Chiles during the tornado and they were amazing. They stayed calm when the power went out and their sincere care for each other and the customers was evident throughout the evening.
We had eaten there the week before...the fajita stir fry is excellent.

Nice atmosphere, good service, good food

The food was amazing. I had the Chicken Spinach Salad. The seasoning was phenomenal. There was a very large group of us against one server and she definitely earned her tip. She worked hard and efficiently and kept a wonderful attitude thru it all.

Went on a reccomendation all the way from Wichita Falls from another Mexican food fan who makes the drive. The place was fantastic. Great attentive and informed service. Clean environment. And great quality food for a more authentic tex mex menu. I had the Parriada Gigante a sampling of a bunch of things and fried Ice Cream for dessert. Also tried a bite of the Steak Tacos on corn tortilla dipped in their Habanero salsa, it was hot and delicious. We will be making the drive again soon for this great food.

Clean and good atmosphere with typical Mexican decor. Waitstaff is always friendly and helpful with menu questions. Patrons are given choice of mild or spicy salsa and Guacamole is always fresh and tasty.
I have had several good dishes here... one in particular I recommend was a Fajita Stir Fry (either beef or chicken).
This is a good place for families and friends to meet up and enjoy a good meal together.

Food is good. Service is terrible. They always mess something up.
Called in an order at 8:30 and drove all the way down here about 35 miles, arrived at the restaurant to pick it up 10 past 9 and they had give my food to someone else.
As someone who cowboys and ranches for a living and eats once a day. I do not appreciate driving 35 miles for them to give away my food to someone else.
Where I come from you treat your customers better then that.
We eat here all the time and I’ve spent lots and lots and lots of money on appetizers and drinks and always tip very very well.
This is the reasturant I used to take everyone to. That won’t be happening anymore. I could have gone somewhere else and picked up food if I had known they couldn’t wait 10 minutes for me to get there when I drive so far to get it. Not what I appreciate after working outside in the cold all day and not after all the money I’ve spent in this place.
They also always mess up our order in some way or fashion and the drinks are left for a long time before being refilled.
They will also serve you small portions and charge you for the large. Their service and how they treat their customers is really terrible but the food was good so we always tolerated it.

First time to visit. Excellent food, prompt and very friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

Great family atmosphere, amazing food and service. The one downer is that the salsa that is offered (two choices spicy or mild) are mostly canned tomoato sauce. If you order a side of Pico de gallo or some tableside guacamole, you will have an extraordinary time. This place is a go to for me due to the care and everyone's attempt to make you feel like royalty. Great restaurant!

Food was ok, but 5 star was earned due to the exceptional service. I believe the waiters name was Hensley. Very attentive and polite. Very refreshing to see such a well mannered young man!!!

Excellent food! We drove an hour to get there and it was totally worth it! Great portion size and awesome queso and hot sauce. If you're ever in Bowie, Bridgeport or Boyd stop and get there you won't regret it!
