I ordered the chicken salad on a croissant. The menu described it as chicken salad was made with mayonnaise, almonds and grapes on two buttery croissants. It was basically chicken with mayonnaise; there were a few slivers of almonds. There were not any grapes and it was highly disappointing. My friend ordered the tomato basil soup and fried tomatoes. The fried tomatoes were just OK. They serve them with ranch dressing and she said that the tomato basil was sweet and it was just OK. This is a place we will not return to.

Good breakfast for a reasonable price. Coffee at the Daily Grind attached is not bad either. Highly recommended.

First time, came for breakfast. The French toast and the waffle were some of the best I've had! Oh, and the sausage was definitely best sausage I've ever had. Decently priced and friendly and quick service. Would drive an hour again to come here.

Food is just ok. Ask for tip when you pay, but they dont do one thing... you order at counter, pick up your own food, go ask for water refills, get your own condiments, etc.

The food was good, the price was reasonable. In spite of being packed, the food came soon. Nice staff.
You may need to wait for some minutes to get a table.
The environment was a little noisy.

Had a turkey melt, turkey seemed like it was Oscar myer mold formed turkey meat that you would get out of the cold case at the dollar store. Overly salty and generally mediocre.

Atmosphere was nice and the coffee was good. Those I was with said the Ruben, tuna melt, and chicken salad croissant were tasty. So I suppose just avoid the turkey melt.

Great breakfast. Could work on the seating but love the light brew ice coffee.

Was yummy. My Uncle picked it and it was ok. I had the sweet potato hash.

When I lived in Boerne, I ate here pretty frequently & always enjoyed it, especially the sweet potato hash. This was my first time back since I moved away, and I was so disappointed!
This place has really gone downhill, I hope the managers/ owners read their reviews & make improvements.
Starting with the few positives, I like the new layout of the seating, though I would encourage you to add a "Welcome!" or, "Enter" sign on the new access door, rather than just the "Exit Only" sign board at the former entrance, it's confusing & not very inviting.
The kids you have working there were their usual sweet & attentive selves.
However...
To begin, they had run out of sweet potato hash, bummer, but ok. I ordered the migas plate instead, along with an iced coffee with a pumpkin spice shot & my husband had the biscuits, gravy & eggs.
We were told they had no iced coffee...what?!?! But I always get iced coffee! They said no one had come in early enough to make some!
They offered an Americano on ice instead. The pumpkin shot tasted moldy, I couldn't finish it, it was gross.
Then our meals came out, we asked for salsa & the kid said they had none!
How in the world do you cook migas, huevos rancheros & breakfast tacos and NOT have salsa?!?
For crying out loud, send someone to HEB for a few jars to get you by until you can make some!
The portions have gotten smaller.
My refried beans were barely lukewarm. The four strands of cheese garnishing the top was a cold joke.
My husband's meal was also small & he said it tasted only alright. He won't go back, but I said I'd give them a couple of months to improve & I'll try again, but that will be the last chance if there's no improvement.
It made me sad to write this.
