Shipley Do-Nuts

Sorry I didn't get any pictures!! I really wish that I had :(

I had a doctor's appointment right near Baptist hospital so I decided afterwards to grab a quick breakfast. I decided on One sausage and cheese kalachi, 1 Apple fritter and some chocolate milk. Service at the window was quick and friendly.

As I was pulling off I looked into the bag with the Apple fritter. The Apple fritter was really dark?! I thought it was my sunglasses so I lifted them up. To my surprise that thing was Burnt! There is no way in the world I'm keeping this burnt Apple fritter That was $2.

I turn around and go back through the drive-through This time a different lady waits on me. I explained to her that it is burnt and I would like to exchange it for one that's not if that is possible. She tells me that the Apple fritter is not burnt it's dark because there is cinnamon in it. ( She has no idea that I used to work at a donut shop) I have had tons of Apple fritters since its not only my favorite donut but also my brother's favorite. This one was not dark due to the cinnamon it was burnt. I Calmly explain that it's actually burnt I've pinched a piece off Pressing and rubbing it between my fingers To show that it was in fact burnt ( Of course it turned into black powder) She took it back into the window and another lady came with with the replacement.
That's all that I wanted was one that was actually edible. I was very pleased that they replaced it. I was also happy that they didn't give me any more push back about that 1 being burnt.
That's why I'm giving 5 stars because the kalachi was hot and fresh, the 2nd Apple fritter was really good good not burnt and my chocolate milk was cold.

Overall good experience and I would try this this shipley's donuts again. As always if you have found my review helpful please give me a thumbs up!! Thanks 👍

Best doughnuts in Beaumont. Get the glazed doughnuts, but ask if they have hot ones from the back - hot glazed doughnuts melt in your mouth!

Excellent service and always fresh

The little young girl that takes the order at the window ( I guess the owner’s daughter or family member) is very inpatient and takes order very quickly and incorrectly . They choose to give you what they want instead of what you ordered.

The staff here is always nice and they work quickly. Everything tastes great.

I wouldn't say I hated them but was disappointed product was not up to the standards that used getting. Donuts were flat in the box only sugared on top . I like the on there side and doused in glaze. And cold used to served hot til 10 am. What happened 😕

The only thing worst than the donuts was the service!!! They SUK!!!
