I buy 3 lbs (weeks) at a time for my self and my 95 year old mother. Each day we discuss the quality of the cup of coffee as we drink it in the morning. We have been doing this for 15 years. It reminds her of when she was a child and her mother as well as all the neighborhood ladies bought their beans green every week. Each day they would roast the beans on the stove top. When my mother was 3 years old she learned to grind the beans with a hand crank.

Philz's coffee in San Francisco is pretty good. They specialize on the artistically brewed cup. In fact I can think of none better--been tasting exotic coffees for 40 years. Come in at the right time and the experts at Texas Coffee traders will brew up different roasts and blends according to different methods for sampling purposes.

You can smell this place down the street. I had the vanilla bean and orange frappe and it’s incredible. Great prices too!

Every time we go to see RC and his crew, it's a great experience. Employees are all very friendly, excited to be at work, super knowledgeable about all the great selections of coffee and tea they have. RC is doing everything right. Stop in and become educated on the finer points of coffee. Puts other places, especially the chains, to shame

The staff are very personable and knowledge about all things coffee related. Sam was particularly helpful in guiding me in the selection of the ideal cold coffee brewing system. Plus their coffee to go prices are so reasonable!

Texas Coffee Traders is the best 'o the best. Their coffee is delicious and their espresso is divine. All the staff are awesome and know a lot about coffee and about how the drink gets from bean to cup. This is a great spot.

Hands-down some of the best coffee you will taste anywhere. We used to own a coffee bar in San Antonio and sourced our blends here. The staff have an extraordinary knowledge of coffee and put significant effort into producing their blends. Love the service and the freshness of their beans! Can't beat it if you want to make your own espressos or cappuccinos. They will also grind the beans for you (to freeze for freshness) if you don't have a grinder

The drip was excellent. Good prices and excellent coffee. The light roast was bright and delicious, and the cost is very affordable.

I love coffee, and this place showed me a whole new world. I didn't know how good coffee could be before coming here. Excellent service and excellent coffee. It's not the cute coffee house where you can browse the internet or read a book, but they do have a small area outdoors to sit and enjoy your coffee. Ask about their coffee 101 class.
