Summer Moon Coffee (Mobile Moon)

Summer Moon is always great to go to whether you want hot coffee or cold coffee they got you. My favorite is the Mocha Moon Latte. If you haven't heard of Summer Moon.. Try It! You won't regret trying their coffee. It's literally so good.

This Summer Moon has a nice sitting area. There's rarely a long line and their staff is very helpful.

Coffee is always delicious however the baristas attitudes are not! I’ve had numerous encounters where they just talk down to me or my husband being nice saying “thank you so much have a great da—“ was cut off mid sentence and window shut in his face. So rude. I rarely come to this location because of the attitudes I usually prefer circle c or buda.

Didn't have hot drinks but this concoction they came up with hit the spot! Fabulous!

Always outstanding service and a superior product. I really enjoy that they offer Bougie's gf donuts now as well. The cinnamon and sugar donut is excellent. I typically order a Winter half or quarter Moon (winter = iced; summer = hot). The special recipe of "moon milk" used in the Summer and Winter moon drinks is a secret blend of milks that is sweet, savory and quite rich. The full moon is a bit too rich for me but I do enjoy the sweet, creamy flavor of the moon milk in smaller doses (half or quarter). The staff is very accommodating to variations of proportions and I enjoy the cleverness of using phases of the moon to order coffee. 😁 The food trailer on Manchaca is a great option (though prepare to wait for long lines with morning rush time). I also love the 1st St location but the parking lot is awkward and available spaces are limited.

Why have the "Star" when the "Moon" is local?

If you're in the market for a higher-end cup of coffee, you'll hear a lot of recommendations for Summer Moon. Their reputation is well-earned, with many quality beverage options on their menu. Be warned, though, their drinks run on the sweet side, and by sweet, I mean sweeter than a can of condensed milk.

So, if you've ever wondered what a unicorn tastes like, or you consider a bag of Skittles a "fruit cup", you'll probably be happy. I ordered the less-sweet Half Moon, and it was essentially a cup of melted Halloween candy. I can't even imagine what the Full Moon is like.

Good for those who LOVE sweet. Not so much for everyone else.

I love the coffee and have never had an issue, typically I don’t order my husband’s order online but since we were on the road I decided to make it easier on us to order for pickup. The only concern I have on the app is that the Horchata option is not there, and I know it’s an extra charge which I wouldn’t have had an issue paying for but y’all could’ve been a bit nicer about it instead of giving an attitude. If y’all can add the option online that’d be amazing, ty!

Austins' BEST coffee house! Love love love!

Their coffee is authentic and best in taste. One of my SFO friend visited Austin and tasted coffee over here and still recollects the taste of this coffee. You can imagine how much impact it left on him. In mornings tacos will be available and donuts all the time. Since it's on Menchaca road it's easily accessible as well. Surrounded by cool benches good place to hangout in evenings.

Love this little coffee trailer in my neighborhood. The moon milk is a little sweet but I normally have them tone it down for me. Finally they have amazing pastries and taco deli!
