Radix House Coffee Shop - William Cannon

Decent coffee for sure - I'm overly critical about coffee, so 'decent', for many, probably ranks/translates as 'very good'! I tend to like my coffee served with a smile and some genuine back-n-forth, and only for that reason does it get a 4/5. Maybe someone was having an off day, or maybe that's just how they are, but in a service industry setting, it doesn't add up. Not to me at least.

I gave this review a few months ago, but wanted to add a few words to why this is the best coffee shop in Austin- every staff member is incredibly knowledgeable and super kind. Top-notch customer service. Best of all, I love the mission behind the company: raising awareness around mental health.

I think this may be my new favorite coffee spot! Their drink menu is super creative and love that they have cbd honey to add in. Also, I was really blown away by the breakfast taco I had today! Was not expecting that. So far we have loved all the coffee drinks we've gotten and everyone is really nice.

Yummy cold brew float today, blueberry muffin and ice cream! Fun to meet owner Roger and check out this local coffee trailer. Ask for suggestions - can’t go wrong. Not a bad bet to lose to treat friends to coffee after they beat us bowling at Westgate Lanes (Radix in the parking lot!). Good selection of seating at picnic benches, even covered area too. Great spot! We will be back.

The best latte drinks. Love this place. The honey lavender latte is amazing! I do wish that oat milk and non-milk options weren’t $1.50-$2. I didn’t choose to be lactose intolerant and that’s a bit of a ridiculous price to me :( I don’t come here as often as I would just because the upcharge is so high, as it becomes an $8 latte (i don’t even get any CBD even). Still love this place though but please think about changing this <3

UPDATE: This morning Radix at Westgate/William Cannon lost their electricity. However, Lisa and the other Barista kept their composure and still gave fantastic customer service. Even if the coffee wasn’t good (which is not the case), I’d still go there just because the customer service is the best in town. Thank you.

There are many coffee houses in our great city. However, most do not offer what Radix has for you. Radix offers very tasty coffee//CBD drinks plus, they have a mission to assist those with PTSD including your K9 friend. The William Cannon location also has unbelievable staff that always meets you with a smile. Olivia is the rare service industry person that has amazing positive energy and care for the job she is doing. Thank you Olivia (and Radix). BEAR.

The owner was friendly and is very involved in supporting the community and spreading awareness on mental health.

Radix continues to impress. Excellent coffee, expansive menu (CBD & Delta 8 products, pastries, etc), and over the top friendly staff.

This place is amazing, by far the best coffee in Austin. Truly a genuine knowledgeable staff that cares for you. A unique gem of Austin that is highly recommend. If you haven't checked out radix you should definitely check out radix!
