I was upset that they ran out of tacos and I bought a sandwich for 10$ but it turned out to be one of the best sandwiches I've ever had

Quick no-frills service. Nice seating area. Lots of merch. I got a cup of coffee and a hashbrown breakfast taco. Coffee was good - taco was premade and cold. Not somewhere I’d meet a friend for breakfast, but a great post-run coffee and breakfast spot that gets the job done.

Great coffee! Worth visiting while on SOCO

Egg tortilla was not very good, but green sauce that comes with it was yummy. I got a hot latte and they charged me for the vanilla syrup, but when picking up orders at the pick up window, the guy in front of me asked for some type of sugar syrup and got it for free...

Jo’s Place is where the iconic “I love you so much” mural is. I got the Laura Palmer, which was very refreshing on a hot day - kinda just tasted like watered down lemonade and was not a strong hibiscus taste though. The matcha palmer was a good mix of matcha and sweetness from the lemonade and pear juice - definitely unique, but this was on their seasonal menu. The iced turbo was chocolatey and creamy - I see why this is a best seller! Get a large size because the small is just all ice. If on South Congress, I’d stop here again but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here.

The guy at the counter was polite, but they didn't have sandwiches or other food. He stated that they were all sold out of food for the day. Maybe cover up the food menu if you don't have any food. Its not cool to stand in line for 20 minutes only to find out there not much available. The outside area is real chill i like that. I will give them one more try the next time I visit Austin

Iced turbo is good if you like more chocolate flavor in drinks (didn’t taste any coffee/espresso). Iced matcha latte was disappointingly weak/bland and I wouldn’t recommend to get it there. Friendly staff though!

Thought I write a review to share this chance encounter at the cafe. Keep Austin Weird!

Very good Turbo on ice. Almost immediately made. A bit sweet but great on a hot day. Lots of seating.
