Great coffee! Highly recommend this place for a quick snack and/or place for a chill caffeine vibe.

One of the best coffee shops in North Austin.
Houndstooth offers carefully crafted high quality espresso drinks.
Their drinks are a far cry from your typical chain coffee drive through faire. You can taste the quality not the espresso and the precision with which the drinks are made. A standard Americano is absolutely fantastic.
That being said, if you're looking for a super sweet milkshake style latte, don't expect a dessert coffee filled menu. The menu is carefully built, but you won't see pumpkin spice lattes or blended ice drinks on the menu.
The shop is well worth the visit, even if you generally prefer a sweeter drink. The baristas know the menu well and can help you find a drink that suits your taste basted on your favorite orders at other coffee shops.
The holiday lattes are absolutely amazing - as is everything on the menu.
It's we worth the hassle of heading to the Domain.

Waited 10 minutes as the barista talked to a customer about life. She saw me waiting, didn’t care. Started leaning against the poles as a waited. Two older ladies cut me in line, barista didn’t care. This place sux.. won’t go back.

Houndstooth is, to me, hands down the best coffee this north in town. The Domain is mostly still miserable, but I'll make the trek for this coffee. Happy to see they're open earlier again.

So definitely this place does not want you to stay long or work without rushing. There are NO power outlets which sucks because not everything is USB charged these days. Coffee was decent but a little bit overpriced.

I recommend the matcha latte. Staff is lovely.

I come to coffee shops to get work done. I can understand having limited electrical outlets, but to design your sitting area without them? This subtly passive aggressive move against "campers" makes Houndstooth a place that I cannot abide.
Decent service and atmosphere otherwise...

Nice location and ambiance, quick service, great place to meet or work and a good coffee as well.

Fantastic coffee. Obviously it’s little crowded as it’s in domain. Friendly staff and spacious to hang out and work.

Not the best cappuccinos but friends liked their lattes. I thought it was ok in general. Ive had better coffees in Seattle. Its also very overpriced.
