Desnudo Coffee

Desnudo is our favorite weekend routine..it's one of those magical and rare places where everyone feels welcome and listened to, and so well cared for that it's hard to believe such thoughtful business owners exist. Sergio and Juan are so impressive in their knowledge about coffee and their passion for micro lots and changing the landscape of conscientious family farming, working directly themselves with Colombian farmers. And they are so talented at making people smile and laugh and recommending the best drink for each individual person. ❤️

This is the best coffee - both drip and espresso-based drinks - I've ever had. And the proprietors are deeply knowledge and pleasant. And they're supporting small farmers. It is hard for me to imagine room for it to be better. I keep meaning to take better pictures but the cappuccino is so good I end up drinking it before taking the picture.

This is hands down the best coffee I’ve ever had. I’ve been all of the U.S trying a variety of lattes and nothing comes close to this. Not only does it taste amazing, but the staff are also some of the nicest and most genuine people you will ever meet. Also… TRUST HIM, TRY THE MISO!

Loyal after just 1 visit! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We got a warm greeting along with a sample of drip coffee (without asking for it) and commentary on the flavor profile and sourcing. Can't wait to return to try non-coffee drinks as well!

The best coffee in town! We go several times a week because it’s THAT GOOD. Everyone’s super friendly and passionate for what they do. I couldn’t recommend it more!

We've been going to Desnudo since they opened last year, and feel so happy and excited to see the line grow everyday. The preciousness of coffee and the feeling it creates is not lost on this small business. Juan and Sergio are so passionate about educating not only the farmers they work with in Colombia, but us as well. They are working so hard to help farmers follow their passion for coffee while being able to support their families. This is not something that can be said about every coffee shop in Austin. The care that goes into their work shines through with any and every drink you get here. Whether it's the signature Brown Sugar Miso Latte, earthy smooth matcha, or the Desnudo, customers can be sure that their drink will be made with the greatest possible care. It also feels important to note the environment that Desnudo effortlessly creates by talking to their customers about their day, remembering faces and their favorite drinks, asking how their travels went the previous week, and building a community that genuinely makes every customer feel cared about. I was born and raised here in Austin, and Desnudo has become a gentle reminder of old Austin, centered around community, creativity, people and passion. I'm so thankful for the nostalgic familial feeling Juan and Sergio brought with them all the way from Colombia. From all of Austin, thank you.

Worth the wait! The FRIENDLIEST employees who brought huge smiles to our faces. The line may be long but the coffee is delicious and the employees make the experience even sweeter. We ordered the miso brown sugar latte with oat milk because they were out of the Boggy Berry - highly recommend!
