The place was super busy but they get your food out to you fast. My omelet was delicious. I was give them 5 stars but the gravy had a sweet taste. It wasn't bad it just wasn't to my liking.

Definitely a down home place. Our second visit but tonight was overwhelmingly busy but our young server was still very attentive with a sense of humor. Once our food arrived it was great as was the first time.

If your over 65 and no taste buds left then go for it. Staff very nice. Cooks got order wrong not once but twice.. Food has weird after taste most noticeable on the toast of my sandwich. Wasted money.

Everything ive had here has been good. Catfish is really good. Service is really good. Even their steak salads were awesome and huge. They have specials on the boards displayed on the wall in different places. Desserts are really good, cakes and pies. One really neat thing about Southside, you can register and get points for every dollar spent. I've built up like $12 before. I'm already back at like $8.00 now.

We recently moved to the area and a neighbors relatives came all the way from Knoxville to have dinner here. They raved about it so much that we had to try it. We were not disappointed. Its a nice mom and pop style restaurant. The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is very relaxed and the food is delicious and affordable. You will not leave hungry or broke. 😊 We were not fans of catfish but the waitress let us try a piece and it was absolutely delicious!!! If you want good catfish, this is the place to go!!!
