As a guest staying at the Hyatt this coffee place is very convenient, been going here for coffee every morning & the attention provided by the baristas is always different. The male is always friendly & goes beyond his way, yet there’s a female that has a major attitude problem. As a client spending daily over $30 + DAILY on COFFEE that is unacceptable.
First of all the espresso shot was great. Second of all she (Natalie) nailed it again the next visit so it wasn't a fluke. There are other non-Stay Golden coffee shops that use Stay Golden beans but they don't all do it justice. I only tried one specialty drink And I can tell the ingredients were top shelf, so I bet the others will be as tasty as they are interesting sounding. And what I like about the couple of pastries that I've tried is they are flavorful but not overly sweet. Barista is warm and friendly. Service is quick and efficient. The coffee bar is on the lobby level of Grand Hyatt which lobby has a contemporary and highfalutin ambiance, so picture yourself going to Frist Art Museum and then walking across the street to get a museum quality cortado (no offense Frist Café)
Coffee shop that is inside a super fancy hotel, but open to the public with doors that lead outside. Good coffee, I personally had their kombucha. Delicious. 👌🏼
Worst hotel coffee shop I’ve ever been to! The “barista “didn’t even know what a drip coffee was. They say they are locally roasted coffee, however the espresso was bitter, and the latte was not poured appropriately. Furthermore, their work area was disgusting, bottles of milk and cartons lying everywhere, spills not cleaned up, both barista’s had no idea what they were doing in a coffee shop.
When not crowded it's very good. During weekdays it took 40 minutes to get a cup of coffee. The lobby coffee was removed after the weekend. The conference didn't serve coffee. The staff was outstanding and performed under severe staff.

The baristas were friendly and my latte was delicious! No wait @ 9:30 am on a Wednesday.
