Breakfast always delicious. Wait people polite even though the place was very busy. Food warm and good. Burrito was always big and Intake half of it home. Thank younJoanies.

joanie’s is by far my favorite place to eat in murfreesboro! it has formed into my comfort cafe, i come here to read on slow days, i bring my family here when they’re in town and now i come here with my husband. i have never had a bad experience, even when the place is slammed they do their absolute best to make sure food is out on time and still fresh. the employees are outstanding and the last time i visited, i got the chance to praise the restaurant to the owner, he’s one of the most humble restaurant owners i’ve met and such a kind person. this restaurant has fun touches that appeal to younger generations like the music they play and the fun table cards but also has a cozy home-like feel to it with comfort food on the menu and their store being on the town square (one of the oldest parts of the boro). i love love LOVE this place and will miss it dearly while i’m traveling ❤️

Great food sweet staff and clean welcoming atmosphere. I really enjoyed the avocado toast and the chorizo scramble. My mom had the chicken crepe and didnt care fo it but was very pleased with the french toast! Their mimosas were also very tasty! Highly recommended.

Good place to meet for lunch. Food and coffee are OK (pour over is not on the menu). WiFi very slow or unusable for me as of mid-May 2023.

from the look of the responses to previous negative critiques, the owner has an awful attitude, a ginormous ego, & clearly has no customer service skills. as someone who has worked under people like this, i can imagine his employees are probably UNDERPAID, UNDERVALUED & UNDERAPPRECIATED. if you can’t even show respect to the people lining your pockets, no way in hell you’re respecting your employees. you don’t want people to trash your “small business”, (apparently couldn’t be that small if you’re flexing location & mobile sales to a customer leaving a complaint lol) don’t be combative to the people trying to give you feedback to improve your business. simple as that.

I don't get the hype. I ordered cinnamon french toast with strawberry(paid extra) . No cinnamon or strawberry. No powdered sugar either. I also order a caramel vanilla ice coffee and the coffee tasted like it was mixed with lemonade and didn't even look like coffee. This was so disappointing. Maybe it was a bad day?
Owners response was incredibly rude for an order they got wrong. I order the same drink everywhere I go to get coffee and it's never looked like this.This coffee was translucent. And tasted like lemons. The strawberries were nowhere to be found. There was a speck of powdered sugar or cinnamon on the French toast either. It has nothing to do with it being a to go order. The order was not correct. I live 2 minutes from the restaurant. No one is out to "HURT SMALL BUSINESSES" it's an honest review.

Trying some place new today and it was horrible. I had Avocado toast with added egg. There was barely any Avocado and the egg was cooked to death so bad I couldn't even cut it. Waste of money. Metro Diner is WAY better and cheaper

We like the food and coffee overall. The French Toast was delicious. The chicken and biscuit was okay, it wasn't bad. There was no wait when we came but after a short a while a lot of people came in and it got a bit loud. It was a little bit awkward when one lady stood by our table waiting for us to finish eating. So we hurried up and got out of there. We'll give it another try next time we are in the area.

Overall decent food and fun setting...although we had to wait a long time to be served which is why I only gave it 4 stars out of 5.

Amazing food!!! We moved to the area about 6 months ago. We couldn't find a burger that we loved. That has changed!!!!

Burgers, fries, in-house sauce, and a coffee while we waited for our food!

We will definitely be back!
