The absolute best hospital, very warm and welcoming. Every single person is friendly, we were just walked to C clinic by a complete stranger. There are activities for the children, while they are waiting to be seen, in every area. They are miracle workers

My 5 yr old son was just admitted early Wednesday morning and diagnosed with A.L.L T-CELL Leukemia.
He was misdiagnosed at the end of January with cat scratch fever back in our home state of Missouri. The doctor in Missouri said it may take a month for his lymph nodes to shrink, but I noticed them enlarging 2 weeks after his diagnosis. I got him into his pediatrician and she ordered a White blood cell count and a cat scratch fever test.
Needless to say cat scratch fever was negative and his WBC count was very high. I was sent to mercy hospital oncology to have my son tested and they diagnosed him there and gave us 3 locations to take our son. It was either st. Louis, Kansas city or St. Jude in Memphis. Without hesitation I looked st my husband and said St. Jude! My family has been a long time supporter of St. Jude hospital. Since we've been here, we've had the best care. My son's doctor, nurses, and the other staff here have been top notch!
My son's doctor ran everything by us telling us what treatment he felt would help our son and his chances of beating this cancer. He listened to our questions and concerns. At first our son seemed resilient to the treatment, and his WBC count continued to rise. His doctor acted quick to fight harder and my son's condition started to change for the better! Thank you St. Jude! We are here for a long time and I know it's going to be a long road ahead. My husband, our other children and myself are thankful you will be with us each step of the way.

The most AMAZING Hospital in the World. I owe you my life. Words do NOT do this place justice. It is beyond anything you could imagine a hospital to be, sweet, caring, a staff that loves to show concern and empathy. No other hospital holds a candle to it. Patient # 18630

My son RYAN was a patient at St. Jude*s in 1993 & 1994. It was an awesome experience! The Doctors, nurses and all staff were great with all of the children and their families too. St. Jude*s Children*s Hospital is a Beautiful Blessing!!

The place is a dream come true! We love St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. No family pays for care; all they have to do is worry about being there for their child. Top notch care for child fighting catastrophic diseases! This is my favorite charity!!!

Amazing hospital . Been living in housing for 9 months. They have been a godsend for us. I couldn’t ask for a better hospital experience. Housing needs to step their game up. It sucks to have to move from Tri Delta to Target House, back to Tri Delta because of a week break in appointments. Other than that- astounding!

Hi.St Jude,
I want to share our family’s sad true story here about my nephew ( he is 2.5 years old, and he is living in China.)
. He has Retinoblastoma, and we recently found out. After we found it out, the whole family collapsed. My daughter and I quickly did the research and tried to help them to find a good hospital for the treatment for him. Then we found St Jude and it gave us a lot of optimistic hope. So we started to contact the referral office and tried to get this little guy to come to the United States to get the best treatment. From the qualifications that St Jude shows online : one of the qualifications is : St Jude doesn’t not accept any kid who has already had any treatment in your original country or location! But as a overseas child, you will face a visa process, so it takes time , how can we just wait for a about a month for the visa and doing nothing for his fatal disease. We must do something before we get the visa to come to the United States for his treatment. So we got a chance finally to write a letter to a doctor at St Jude. He gave us a heartbreak answer, which Basically, St Jude will not accept this kid for treatment in the United States IF the kid takes any treatment in China. We were so sad and disappointed. And have to choose to go to a hospital here in Guangzhou. the doctor have a the result that his right Eye is D and Left Eye is E. But nothing spread to any part of the body yet, so they did the first treatment to my nephew. ( I don’t know how to explain the way they used to treat my nephew: I will try to translate it this way: interventional therapy, maybe I am wrong, but let me try again: the doctor used a way to let the medicine just go to the eye , not the whole body . ) , they told us, at least 4 times so far, the high , high, high, treatment fee has already shocked the whole family. They are a poor family, father is a bus driver, mother doesn’t not have a job, they have another child too. they don’t know how to deal the rest of the treatment for my nephew. They don’t know how the kid’s treatment will go on.... when we found St Jude, we were so excited , we thought this kid would be treated and saved , this kid would have a hope , his family would have hope. Because St Jude told us we will safe children’s eyes not cut the eyes off.
Tell me please, can my nephew still come to St Jude for the treatment since the tumors have not spread out any other parts of his body yet???? Visas to go to the United States for my nephew and his father are still in the process. We don’t want to give up, please.
We are hoping that an official person from St Jude will answer the questions and please help this kid , please, please, please!!! He is only 2 .5 years old.......
Ps: I really don’t want to give bad review about St Jude . so please help me to understand I give it wrong!
