Best coffee in memphis, no contest. I wish they would have fresher bags to take home- they roast M-F but when i get there on the weekends they usually have something between 4 and 12 days old, so i mostly order bags online from different roasters. They also run low sometimes, so the bag i want may not be available. Wish that wasn't the case. If there was a way to fresh order french truck with a site like trade coffee i would buy from them everytime. Too long of a drive to not get the bag i came in for, or for the bag to be a week old. The first 4 or 5 days after roasting, FT coffee is amazing. After the 4 or 5 days, the taste isnt the same.

Great roasterie!
We were passing through and bought a couple bags of beans and a couple drinks. We'll definitely be hitting up one of the NOLA locations.
Thanks for the great experience!

I love their coffee and the breakfast is really good, too! If you don't want to stand around in long brunch lines, but want a delicious early meal, this is the place for you.

So glad to share a review of French truck coffee because I was just saying I think this might be the best coffee I've had outside of Jamaica.

They did not do the best job with my food. The black guy who was the cashier was really rude to me and I asked for a certain drink but guy making the drinks gave me the wrong one. Not to mention the food later made me sick. I won’t be going there anymore.

If you are like me....a great coffee bean is akin to a fine wine grape...and it takes searching, tasting, disappointment, searching some more and finally success! As a new Memphian, transplanted from L.A., this was ""my" quest, for the perfect bean. Enter Yellow Truck...not only do I love their logo...and the refreshingly brilliant team of barista's at the Crosstown location - Liv...she was amazing, knowledgeable and patient-
...i asked a million questions, tasted several different brews and think I found my love in the La Nouvelle - New Orleans blend w/chicory...yes, chicory....its been forever...i left with a free cup with my bean purchase, a free bean punch card and a smile!
Thank you Liv...welcome to Memphis...and you are an awesome French Truck ambassador who should get a raise for your stellar customer service!

Our family buys the dark roast beans for our home and definitely loves the medium roast as well. There are fruity tents in their coffee. So refreshing!

I really miss this place. It's not closed or anything. It's just the fact that their hours are too restrictive. It's on the way to and from work. I would stop by and pick up a bag of coffee and a New Orleans ice coffee when I was running low. With the hours being 8am to 3pm, I can never make it there anymore.

Great setup inside a beautiful space. Nice selection of coffees, draft beer, pastries and other small plates. The Peru Cajamarca, prepared as a “pour over”, was a tasty cup of coffee.

I had a similar experience as one which someone mentioned earlier. My first impression was an extremely condescending barista, or whatever he was. He acted put out because I wasn't sure what I wanted, and we were the only people in line. I worked as a server for about 8 years, and I understand that people may have a bad day from time to time. But there's no reason to be snobby or condescending.
