Pros; The ambiance is the best. Beautiful outdoor patio with vining trees overhead…gorgeous. I would come back just to sit out there. The prices are very good.
Cons; The food just okay at best. I got the Rembrandts Rancheros…not good. The egg was an inch thick and didn’t taste like real eggs. My kids got French toast and they ate some but had a weird cream filling inside that ruined the toast. My latte was just a foam creation, I threw it away. Chocolate chip cookies are excellent.
Come here and get coffee and sit on patio…don’t order food.

I’ve come here a few times over the past decade and it’s a regular destination for me when I’m in Chattanooga. If nothing else I can say they are consistent. I see the same quality today I saw back in 2010 and potentially before. I personally think their pastries are better than their coffee, but both are good. The line can get long at busy times but they tend to move people through the shop pretty quickly. You’re more likely to have trouble parking than you are to have issues finding a seat here.

Fantastic coffee with lots of breakfast options and fresh-made bakery items. The atmosphere is cozy and swanky, and the patio is wonderful!

Such a cute first date coffee place or a place to take yourself on a date. The outside seating is a great place to sit and read a book. I rate Rembrandt’s a 4 out of 5 because the FireBird isn’t exactly worth the 9.50 it costs. Pretty much just a warm smoked turkey sandwich I could’ve made in my own kitchen. Other than the sandwich, the iced mocha I ordered, was brilliant. All in all, go for the coffee! You won’t be let down!

We ended our weekend trip in Chattanooga with Rembrandt's and it was wonderful. There was a bit of a wait because it's the end of a holiday weekend, but the baristas and cashier were going as fast as they could, and the wait wasn't too bad. I got the french toast (they were unfortunately out of strawberries) and my husband got a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. It was a great beginning to the start of our last day here. Wonderful garden spot outside and plenty of options for any type of hot drink you would like!

Really cool, quaint coffee shop. The coffee and drinks are great! They have some great chocolate, a baked goods!
In walking distance from Market St. and the John Ross Bridge. We will definitely be back!

Visited this past Sunday, December 4th as soon as they opened. We drove 3 hours to visit Chattanooga and decided on Rembrandt as our first destination to start the day. This was the only part of our day trip that was disappointing.
Ordered 2 Mochas, a chocolate croissant and the rancheros for $22-24. The coffee was fine, nothing special. The croissant hardly had any chocolate on it, disappointing. The rancheros was in its own ball field of awful. It came with a salsa topping of beans, corn, salsa etc that was ice cold as if it just came out of the fridge, and the salsa sauce part of it was sparse and dry. Most of the cheese was not melted, but the egg was fluffy. I regret not bringing it right back for a refund.
It was also off putting how the “cook” who brings your food to you, just enters the sitting area and yells your name. I’m sure there’s a better system than blindly yelling at the entire room.
Also, everything is served to go. Paper coffee cups and styrofoam containers for food whether you’re eating inside or taking it out. This seems tacky and wasteful, since we didn’t plan on taking anything to go. We may as well have went to Starbucks a few streets over, no doubt we would have had a better experience there or literally anywhere else.

Very tasty food. I got their Baked eggs with cheese and added Spinach, No Bread. It was yummy! Good coffee. Beautiful outdoor seating.

Absolutely delicious sandwiches and sweets! Great location to downtown. I went for the sweets and added in the turkey sandwich as well as the Rueben. Homemade bread made these sandwiches amazing! The sweets didn’t disappoint!
