I'm at the well most weekday mornings, staff is friendly, espresso is good and quick, smooth and not overly acidic. Only real complaint is the loyalty program requires you to spend 4.70, and I always spend 4.04, so despite being there all the time I never get any stars. Oh well.

One of the first coffee shops I've tried in Nashville and it's definitely on the repeat visit list. Service was second to none. I'm an aspiring coffee nerd, and something about the cappuccino I had was unique in a way I've not tasted before. Definitely gotta discover what it was! Maybe it's that Tennessee milk that you just can't get in the Washington, D.C. area! 😀

The employees are kind but the venue gets a bit crowded and loud. If you are wanting to meet up with an old friend to chat, it may not be the place to go, because you can't always hear well. The tea selection is slim as well, but what the causes they support is admirable!

This place was slammed when I went (on a Wednesday) but the coffee - holy beans! This place is legit. Some of the best coffee I've ever had. It's worth it to be in there for your brief 1-on-1 meetings, post workout hang out, or even something quick on your way into work.

I wanted to add some details to my review as leaving a one star with no explanation is not really fair.

I'm a huge fan of pour-over coffee. The best I've had by far is Philz (Bay area), but I've found excellent pour-over across the country. I was excited to try The Well as I like to try new coffee houses (especially local) everywhere I travel. What I had was, simply put and without embellishment, the worst cup of coffee I've ever paid money for.

The coffee was tepid at best. The water wasn't hot enough to draw the oils from the grounds and as a result it came out looking like weak tea. Given that they serve it in a clear glass cup with a vessel containing the excess which is also clear, it should have been obvious to the barista that something was off. Nonetheless, that was what I was served.

I didn't have the time or interest in going back up to the counter to mess with a new cup or a refund, as I was there to have a meeting and didn't want to waste what little time I had.

Excellent pour-over is an art. Decent pour-over is achievable by anyone with a water boiler and some decent grounds. I hope my experience was a fluke, but I won't be back to find out.

The coffee tastes okay - both times I've been, it's been strangely astringent! I also think everything you can buy in the store is borderline heinously overpriced ($20 for a small bag of their coffee beans, $10+ for a tiny bag of a typical chamomile blend). I haven't tried any of their food though, but I've heard really good things about their bagels!

A good selection of wonderful beans for delicious pour overs. My favorite beans tend to be Kenyan, so I was delighted they had some. Their espresso beans are better than what you can get at even a good espresso shop.

Great coffee & great missional purpose!

Staff are very friendly and the place is really excellent to getting thing done while having a quality coffee. There is Starbucks near by but this place still pack with people because of the great coffee they offer. Don't go further if you are looking for a great coffee and you want to try something new.

Seasonal coffee is good but changes a lot.
