Ruby's Roost Spearfish

I ordered the brown sugar cardamom latte and asked the beautiful young lady working the cashier if it is very sweet. She explained that their drinks are usually less sweet than the major chains. It was delicious! The raspberry white chocolate scone and the Ruby scone were great, too.

Very friendly personnel, cute clean shop with multiple tables of various sizes for sit down and some outdoor seating. Quick take out service at 8am although there were multiple groups there. Yummy, fresh, sweet and savory baked goods. We tried their ham and cheese scone, cinnamon roll, and brownies. Gluten free options available. Great smooth, balanced coffee.

Can't beat Ruby's when it comes to cafes. Family-run, friendly, spacious, comfortable. Coffee is great, baked goods are made from scratch and dangerously delicious. Stop in.

Beautiful family - beautiful shop - amazing coffee and pastries. We stopped in while visiting family in Spearfish. Coffee and scones were amazing. Hubby had smoothie that he loved. We ended up going back the next morning for more awesomeness and taking home caramel rolls for the fam. We'll definitely be back next time we visit the fam!

Bob and Linnéa know how to run a coffee shop with incredible baked goods! They and their kids honor and value every customer that comes through! Love talking with them every time we stop in!
The scones at Ruby’s are the best scones I’ve ever had! The consistency is unmatched and we love coming in to enjoy them. The Ruby’s latte is also amazing, silky and smooth while not too sweet! We love this shop so much and the family that runs in! It’s a must stop when you come through Spearfish!

We LOVE Ruby’s! We’re in MN and visit the bakery as much as possible. Lavender Vanilla latte is my favorite. Highly suggest the scones as well. Miss the owners as they are now in Spearfish but we will make it out there soon!

Really nice spot to get a good coffee. Their caramel rolls were delicious. They even have little chocolate babkas, something you don't find many places at all in SD.

Cute little coffee house with tasty baked goods. We enjoy swinging in on Friday's for coffee and a pastry. It's got a homey vibe and the staff are very friendly. It's conveniently located right off the main downtown intersection and has easy parking located on the west side of the building.
