Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

Out of towner review:
At first sight, I wasn’t sure if this place was a mirage or I found a time machine to go back and visit the past. My wife and I grew up seeing so many Perkins restaurants in Florida, so when we visited the area and saw one off the highway, we decided to stop in with a bunch of our friends.
I had ordered steak and eggs with well done potatoes and a side of French toast. The steak was actually pretty good, nicely cooked. The French toast, however, was terrible. It was undercooked and I didn’t end up eating it.

My wife ordered some eggs with sautéed vegetables and found what seemed to be paper or cardboard pieces in it. It was really gross, not to mention the veggies were wet. The waitress was very sorry and refunded us for the meal, but it wasn’t a great start to our day. Our friends ordered the smaller, which they seemed to like, but also had a side of blintzes that were very sweet and didn’t look like the item shown in the menu.

Overall, what seemed like what wound be a fun and delicious visit to Perkins ended up being a rather disappointing meal. The restaurant was packed so maybe this was a rare occurrence, but we don’t plan to go back to Perkins anytime soon.

This is second time dining here. One of the best Perkins we have been too The food is great, service fast and friendly. We were staying at the travel lodge where they give you a discount coupon with your stay. We all enjoyed the meals we ordered.

Ok, third time eating here in as many days. Nice menu selection, good tasting food, VERY CLEAN RESTROOMS, friendly knowledgeable staff, fast service, overall nice friendly place. I plan on saving room for dessert. I will try their upside down pineapple cake.

Here again. I keep coming back because I really like this place!

Food was very good, kinda salty but overall good. Friendly staff and fast service. Wheelchair accessible bathroom and doors. Good for family's or just yourself. They serve breakfast all day. Plenty of parking spaces, and large array of seating. Have a good day y'all :)

Good food on a menu with many choices! Great service! Busy place but we had a nice dinner for a reasonable rate. 👍

My kids and I ate here yesterday after Easter church service and we got seated right away. I didn’t catch the waitress’s name, but she was very kind and got us everything we needed.

Lovely place, nice and quiet! Should i say that food was yummy? Definitely will come back again.

If I could give more stars I would that's how much this place rocks. This morning me and my fiancé decided to sit down and give this place a whirl and have some breakfast. We are from California and just moved here to Spearfish. We are used to Denny's breakfast but this breakfast that we've had here this very morning was amazing and outstanding. The best customer service we have ever received dining out. I ordered a ham and cheese omelette that came with hash browns and toast. I also ordered a orange juice. Everything was Soo delicious. This place has some great breakfast and the best customer service. Another plus was that we got seated fast and our food was brought to us very fast. I will definitely be going back.

We went to have dinner tonight and the service was terrible ,I ask for a to go box and my salad I had ordered to go…. To make a long story short she gave us the ticket no to go box or my salad I waited at least if not longer and finally had to find someone and then she said sorry and a half salad they only took off 4.00 and when I ask why the manger was rude I will never go back and will never recomend this place worse service every and there was others complaining also, terrible service

Food was really good. Service by Audrey was great. Overall I had a great experience 😌
