Koinonia Kafe

Went here for the 2nd time. 1st time was a few months ago and they must've had new business issues because this time was fantastic. Came in on Thursday evening for their pizza and it is delicious. Fast service, great atmosphere, very welcoming and clean. Definitely need to try it out for yourself!

Wow, what a pleasant surprise! This is our first day in Mitchell and I didn't expect to find a chic little cafe like this. It's very welcoming, lots of seating, and very clean. The club sandwich is phenomenal. The owner works here, she was actually the only one working when we went, took our order and prepared the food. We will definitely be eating here often.

This lovely place is in the heart of downtown Mitchell and they are a gem on Mitchell’s Main Street for sure! I got the Biscuits and Gravy and you can tell these were made with passion. They offer generous portions and it is so tasty! I would reccomend this place to everyone I know! Great atmosphere and friendly staff!

The staff at Elixir is so friendly and they provide great service EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Their americano is perfection and you have to try to cafe club! They've done a fantastic job decorating the inside and making it the perfect spot for a relaxing breakfast or a quick meeting!

Cute little shop, pretty expensive, good lattes, I got mine iced with hazelnut. Great service . The biscuits and gravy wasn’t as good as I hoped but it wasn’t terrible.
I’m changing my review , about 3 hours after the food and coffee my stomach started hurting, found out I ate bad food, maybe the sausage in the biscuits and gravy or maybe the eggs who knows , DONT get their biscuits and gravy!!

Outstanding coffee, great food, very friendly and encouraging staff. It makes stopping in Mitchell a “must” every time I’m cutting across SD on I90. Thank you!

Food was great, staff was pleasant and the atmosphere is spot on. I felt like I was eating at home.

We stopped here as a last stop for breakfast/coffee after camping in CO for 2 weeks and we are so glad we did. It was the perfect place to fuel up for our last leg home. The breakfast sandwich was delicious!

Happy with our food. Surprised by the complete lack of acknowledgment of a pandemic. No masks for employees, no encouragement of masks for customers, despite some kind of street festival making town busier than I'd expected. I'd go back post-pandemic but for now will stick with places taking a few more precautions. Why not.

Very good food and beverages. Brandon does a great job roasting, make sure you take a pound or two of the coffee beans you won't easily find better. Thanks Naomi, had a great breakfast.
