Best cream filled donut. It tasted exactly as I remember when I was a kid. Came back to the area after 20 years elsewhere and was excited to have one again because these donuts are only in the Midwest. I could smell them as soon as I walked into the store. So happy to have one again! These are a special treat.

This is an amazing bakery in terms of quality and deliciousness!! Old time donuts and baked goods! Not like so many donuts you get at Walmart or HyVee. These are the real thing and homemade! A hidden gem especially for those that aren’t local, a A+ for those of us that are. I love donuts!

I was told by two different people how great this place was. I am very disappointed and I will never order from this place again.I ordered a cake with cupcakes and cupcakes for graduation. I ordered purple with silver border but received a different shade of purple for the Border and the cupcakes that were ordered silver. I ordered a seperate order of chocolate cupcakes that were made white and not decorated like I ordered them. Janet wanted me to come in to show her the colors that I wanted and I showed her, but she barely glanced at them. I tried to explain to her how I wanted the cupcakes and she did not want to listen," yeah yeah" she knew what I wanted. I sent my daughter with a check. So when I saw the cake and cupcakes on Sunday when zems is closed and graduation is that day and there's nothing we can do about it everything was wrong. When I called to talk to her to explain what was wrong today she argued with me about everything that I tried to explain was wrong. Telling me that," no no she took the order everything was right so what was the problem" I paid 57$ for the order and was given half off the cupcakes. 7.50$

We love their frosted creme filled long johns! Any time we hear of someone going to Milbank we beg them to stop and pick up long johns for us. No one else makes them like ZEMS!!
