Lotus Up Espresso & Deli

The view off the patio is nice but I'd expect to be disappointed with any food item that wasn't a bagel or a caramel roll. $4.00 for a small bigelow green tea that you can get at any diner for $1.00. Lunch meat and fake eggs make up the rest of the menu. But I guess that's what coffee shops are all about, so if you're down for paying for "atmosphere" and sacrificing quality... this is the place.

Open during the heavy snow the first week of Nov. Son couldn't make it from Rapid due to the weather but recommended Lotus to us. Very easy menu with yummy choices (breakfas, lunch and dinner), great view from either the first or second floor. Owner and staff were just super and provided us with tons of local wisdon for Lead and the area. We'll definitely be back, and our son and his with are planning a day trip to lead just to have lunch at Lotus! You sure I can't talk you into branching out and open Lotus-2 in DC?

I ordered a chai latte, and it just tasted like steamed cream. I didnt really have much of a chai flavor. I have heard that their other drinks are fantastic though, so next time I'll switch up my order a bit! :) super friendly service, and a great atmosphere!

I am a truck driver that was delivering a load less than a mile away. I called into see if I would be able to order because I am hungry. Unfortunately they are open for the drive through only and apparently couldn't make a small exception for a semi truck driver. Smells great tho.

Very good gravy and biscuits and bagels. Great food and atmosphere sitting on the deck.

The food arrived at different times. We're talking 30 minutes. Our drinks were not refilled or even offered to be filled. The waitress announced only one chicken breast was available for dinner. Pass on this place.

Great view and delicious food. Friendly service. I had 1/2 sandwich and cup of spoup for less than $10. Came with generous helping of chips, a baby carrot and a couple of others.

Nice staff & owner was delightful. She was able to give a brief history of the area. Biscuits & gravy was house made & banana nut muffin was moist & flavorful.

So this was one of my favorite stops of our trip to the area. Great view and so relaxing. A must stop for a breakfast, brunch, or lunch stop. The
Coffee revived our spirits. The tea was terrific too!
