Cute little French pastry place in the old Care Strudel building. Back patio for outside seating. Says Cafe Pastry outside

I had a great experience with staff! They recommended the lavender latte and a sandwich that was so pleasantly delicious.

Excellent food! Will be going back tomorrow. Had country avocado toast and double iced expresso. Got some pastries to go as well. Two younger gals working and did a great job with the food and greeting all the customers as they came in. Definately a good option for lighter and more healthy options. Offer protein to add to smoothies, coffee drinks, Open sandwiches, breakfast, etc. A lot of options for a small place! Great decor and have two outdoor spaces too!

Kind, considerate wait staff, delicious, well prepared food, and a great location with an amazing patio. We really enjoyed the tartiness and the avocado toast. The bread was incredible!

Unique, yummy tastes with a larger menu than I expected. But you may want to get there early because some items (i.e., chocolate croissants) can sell out. There is limited seating (indoor and outdoor) and WiFi is available.

Atmosphere is great inside and out. And relaxing music and employees are very friendly. Many options for coffee and smoothies. Can’t go wrong with the chocolate mousse

I came there at closing time (I am visiting town and was very surprised nearly every food establishment closes at 2 pm (!) on weekdays. However there was a customer still there, so I didn't realize. The server told me they were closed, the kitchen was closed, and I couldn't get anything to go. I asked her if maybe she could sell me a pastry from the cool case up front, and she, somewhat begrudgingly agreed. Nothing looked particularly good, but i went for a slice of coffee cake. It's rated as low price, it is not. I got a tiny slice for nearly $7, and it was so bad I still haven't finished it a day later (I was very very hungry, but I had some sunflower seeds and an apple and just went with that). Even my little boy refused the cake after one bite. It tasted stale and like a refrigerator. Very disappointing for being so overpriced. Walmart bakery does a better job than that.

An immaculate location in West Columbia... but they don't take advantage of it. The building itself is beautiful and well decorated, but the seats are uncomfortable and the coffee is just average at best. Ordered a cappuccino that turned out to be an overpriced disappointment. Much of the menu looks to be that way: overpriced and a bit lacking in quality. And judging by the smell in the restaurant during my time drinking my coffee, they were struggling not to burn the bread they were serving. While the food was disappointing, the location and aesthetic really are stunning (and the staff are friendly). It's a very weak 3 stars for me. 2.5 is more accurate. As the name suggests, this place should staff hidden.

Absolutely the best breakfast in Columbia. Hands down great service! Very clean & beautiful on the inside. We had a lovely experience thanks to Julia. Loved the service great food & drinks!

This is a review to let you know the management here is absolutely horrid. I was an assistant manager here. The turnover rate is incredibly high because of how the general micromanager treats her employees. She fired me out of anger after I politely put in my two weeks notice because I got offered a better work opportunity. She is also refusing to give me my tips that I earned on my last days. Just a warning for others who are considering to work here or encounter this place.
