Great coffee and awesome space, but the music was way too loud. It bills itself as a hangout for artists, but I couldn't concentrate on my writing because of how loud the music was. Even when I went to the bookshop I could still hear the music. How can I be a hipster if I can't concentrate on my pretentious musings?

Formerly this space was used for the masons meetings, but eight years ago they opened the bottom floor for commercial businesses. The fraternity still meet upstairs, but the history (and mystery) is so cool! Little River Coffee Bar gets points for: the history of the building and mysteries within those walls, their decor and furniture (it's cozy for conversation and/or studying), outdoor seating (which I enjoy), their coffee roast (it's tasty by itself without cream or sugar), originality (I learned more about coffee and new ways to make it), and friendly staff.

I love this place. It's an uthentic local coffee shop with a nice cozy atmosphere. The baristas are friendly and helpful and the coffee and various drinks are great and reasonably priced. It is located in the heart of downtown within walking distance of many restuaunts.

My dad and I went in to get a coffee and was completely ignored for 10 mins. A woman walks in and orders 6 different coffees and was served. Maybe because we weren't lawyers or young or dressed right. Who knows. This happened on 3-14-17. I will not be returning to this place and will suggest it to anyone either. This place needs a lesson in customer service .

Real nice place to read a book. Good lite snacks and drinks not just coffee. Book store right next door offers a lot of local authors and more national titles. Cozy little spot.

Really good drip coffee, but my friend and I came in 20 minutes before closing and the barista said they couldn’t make us pour overs or espresso drinks a that hour, and as someone with experience in small/local food service that’s unacceptable 20 minutes before closing. Like I said, even the drip coffee they did have available was amazing, but I can’t leave a good review with the horrible customer service was not up to any industry standard and the barista wasn’t the most hospitable about the situation, despite the fact that it was obviously an inconvenience to us. I understand it’s annoying for customers to come in that close to closing but it’s still their job to serve the customer in the best way possible.

LRR Coffee Bar is one of our favorite places to go on a Saturday morning for coffee and a pimento cheese biscuit from Cakehead Bakeshop. Bring your own mug and get a cup of drip coffee for a buck! Cozy indoor seating or take in some fresh air at one of the many out door tables. Fast and friendly service is always ready to please. A perfect fit in the heart of Spartanburg.

Just what I'm looking for in a coffee shop. To be harassed by homeless people... Yeah. Go Spartanburg!
At least the coffee is overpriced and inferior to The Waffle House.
If your looking for a place to go and be the only person without purple hair and ear gauges staring at a cellphone you've found it. Bernie buttons seem mandatory.

Friendly knowledgeable staff, EXCELENT coffee, great bakery in back, outside seating and local book store neighbor. Also have live music on certain evenings. And did I mention that they roast their own coffee!

Always a great experience. Friendly staff, great coffee, and always get a bag to go. The pimento cheese biscuits are great!!
