I would first like to say that I've been a semi regular customer of coyote coffee for some years now. Unfortunately, the service has become worse as of late and I felt it was time to review simply so things might be corrected. I ordered a cappuccino... took nearly 30 mins. I stood off to the side as others who ordered after me received their drinks. Their orders also took a good deal of time. I will try coyote coffee again sometime in the future, but I will be going to another competitor for the time being.

Very unprofessional & rude staff. This particular girl laughs & smirks as she makes our coffees. The taste was bitter & didn’t have one bit of sweetness in it. I think she did it out of hate & will not be going back. Management needs to take care of this girl asap. (Ariel was the name of the server on my cup)

First time trying Coyote Coffee in Pickens and I ordered an iced coffee and the first few sips were pretty good. I left and continued enjoying my drink. After about the fourth sip, I started noticing the coffee grounds floating in my drink. I looked on the bottom of the clear plastic cup and noticed the entire bottom of the cup was layered with coffee grounds. Unfortunately could not finish my coffee due to the amount of coffee grounds floating in my beverage. I am not sure what went wrong with the filtration process. Two stars because the first few sips did have a nice flavor, I just ended up wasting over a half a large cup of iced coffee. Disappointed.

Really liked this place; located in Pickens SC. This was my 1st visit and I was impressed with its cleanliness and how comfortable the atmosphere is. The staff are friendly, service excellent, and a much bigger menu than I originally expected. This is not Starbucks... much better and their coffee is excellent. Prices are better than "you know who", as well. Great choice for casual food and conversation. Located on Main street in Pickens; easy to get to... but their parking a bit awkward... which isn't a big deal anyway. Come by and enjoy good food and great coffee. Thumbs up!

Coffee is good but they lacked the ability to handle a very minor lunch rush I waited 30 minutes from 12:34 pm to 1:07 pm to get two sandwiches that only required one cooked egg on each and one bagel on a fairly slow afternoon. They have 6 people in store and only one maybe two were up front making the coffee. They didn't melt the cheese or cook the ham a bit. Truly should keep this place a coffee place and maybe bagel if your willing to wait... They spent a lot of money keeping it looking nice, music and ambiance were nice, staff seemed unorganized. Happy to help a small business but expect to spend more than you would at a star bucks. Places to charge and study.
Rating the service and food qaulity though. If I were to rate the building and ambiance and what it could be with slightly better trained staff, then a solid 4 stars. They wear masks thank God. Let's not mention the fact their fans and ceilings are caked in dust, both of their bathrooms have open windows, and the ceiling between the female and males bathroom is partially open as well as loose fiber glass hanging from above in there. I aim to improve this restaurants quality so it may stay vibrant healthy lasting a long time with wonderful service through an honest review and seeing that the management was obviously poor it did not seem apprehensive to contact a manager.

Coyote Coffee is my go-to coffee spot whenever I’m in the upstate. I prefer supporting local businesses, and to be frank….Starbucks makes terrible coffee. It tastes burnt. I don’t understand why folks drink it. It’s overpriced to get something that tastes very acidic/burnt and flavorless without a ton of added flavor. I can get a black cup of coffee at Coyote coffee and taste a significant difference, I don’t know what Coyote is doing differently than Starbucks, but Starbucks needs to take notes. I drive out of my way to get coffee from one of Coyote’s locations because their staff is fantastic, they treat you like family and the coffee is beyond amazing. Dessert turtle is my jam! Every once in a while I tell their staff to surprise me and pick a random drink for me, and guess what? I haven’t been disappointed yet. If you want a great atmosphere and superior coffee, Coyote Coffee is an absolute must.
