First time going since they moved. Food is still delicious and filling. The service is great. Happy to go back when I'm in town.

Turtle cheesecake and pound cake were HORRIBLE! A total waste of calories and money ($15.39)!! Such a disappointment! I was looking forward to having a great desert after dinner after being careful about what I was eating for so long. This was to be my decadent splurge. The seafood meal I purchased at another restaurant was a bust as well. I guess Myrtle Beach is not the place to go for great dining experiences!
SAVE YOUR MONEY AND COOK AT HOME! It was as if I were robbed without a gun.

i can't get enough of this place. inside is very clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. their complementary friendship muffins are SO good. I always get the croissants Benedict and it never does me wrong. the staff is always so attentive and kind.

From the moment we walked through the doors, at both bakery and restaurant we knew these places were going to be great! Both, the bakery as well as Hook and Barrel the restaurant was AMAZING! Customer service as well as the food was spot on! Both places are a must!

WOW!! So good. Really great service and server Kennedy. We arrived wo reservations and thankfully we were able to grab a seat. Phew! The menu was incredible and had many, many choices. We enjoyed the fried green tomato and pimento cheese sandwich and the “Not your mother’s meatloaf” sandwich and a chicken salad croissant.
Everything was so incredibly tasty! We loved the little tiny ambrosia side scoop too- nice touch.
Try the Sweet Tea or the Ginger Peach Tea - 😋 - really great choice in Myrtle Beach just be sure to make reservations!

We stopped by after dinner for a quick coffee. Unfortunately, you can’t sit inside later in a day and they only serve in paper cups. I prefer to drink my latte from a mug. Latte tasted good but it was a bit too hot for my taste. They roast their own coffee and they also sell coffee bags. All the desserts looked good but we didn’t try any.

Waited an hour for table for subpar food. Go further into town and explore before choosing this place. People are added to wait list even when they’re not in the restaurant. At least place guests who are present in the restaurant higher on the wait list. I waited for an hour then saw a party of 7 pull up and walk right to their table. wow!

We went in at about 4 for an expresso and a slice of cake. Google maps says they are open until 9 pm.
I clearly stated this was an order “for here” to the guy that waited on me. The next thing I know there was a bag on the counter and coffee in paper cups. I was really looking forward to coffee in a real cup, not like Starbucks. They said they close for inside service at 3:30. It was pouring rain outside so we had to take out coffee, cake and leave.
When we got back to out hotel I opened the bag to find that the guy gave me a cheesecake, not carrot cake like I ordered. Sigh. I called to complain and they at least gave me a credit back for the wrong cake. I’m still feeling miffed because I was really looking forward to the carrot cake which was not to be.
I will have to think long and hard about going back as this experience left a bad taste and I’ve also changed plans to go to the Hook and Barrel restaurant as well.
