Essentials Coffee

The Turkey and Cheese croissant loaded with the avocado and tomato onion jam was delicious!! The coffee is typical coffee shop quality - but it is very conveniently located. Definitely get the rewards punch card to earn a free drink!

I genuinely think it’s impossible to be upset at Essentials. I walk in there and immediately feel better. The variety+quality of the menu, the amazing baristas, and incredible ambiance come together to create a very happy place for me

I needed a delicious breakfast this morning, and for the first time found this place on Ubereats. I was so excited, as I love good coffee and it's even better when someone brings it to me! I usually just drink plain black coffee but I like a Flat White, and theirs is excellent. I never add syrup or sweetener but the Flavor choice was required and I felt fancy today anyway, so I tried their housemade Brown Sugar Cinnamon flavor and it was delicious. Very sweet to me, I will note to use just half the normal amount next time, but it was a tasty treat and got my morning started right.

In my typical "One of Everything" style of trying new places, I overordered. I got the Everything Breakfast Bagel Sandwich with added bacon, and it was HUGE and filling! Fresh, fluffy scrambled eggs, wilted spinach (intentionally, not like old spinach), a nice slice of tomato, and a thick schmear of delectable garlic herb cream cheese. Honestly it didn't need the bacon, which was super-thin sliced, so save your $2.50 for something else. This sandwich was so hearty I could only finish half. But now that I have cleaned house, I am ready for the other half, and talking about it is making my mouth water!

I ordered the Ham and Swiss Croissant but my driver called and said they had to switch to turkey and Swiss. I sighed and said, "I'll live." and he said, "I figured you would." LOL Anyway it is super-flaky and smelled incredible but I haven't actually tried it yet. From all appearances it is going to be light, crisp, flaky, and again quite filling. It could only be better if it was ham. Apparently that's a bestseller there. Gotta get up pretty early to get that one!

This was a delightful way to start my day, and now I'm going to finish my bagel! Yum!

First time here today and will definitely be back when I'm in the area. Cherry blossom iced latte was delicious - not too sweet and so flavorful! Appreciated the quick and friendly service, along with the great coffee. Support local!

I usually do not post reviews, but this place is awesome! The atmosphere is relaxed and a perfect place to get work done. The baristas are fast, very positive, and lovely people. I ordered a curbside pickup order and the response time was within minutes.

I forgot to mention no whipped cream with my non-dairy latte, but they were already on it! Thank you!

I've really enjoyed adding EC to my morning routine. Most of the staff is very warm with great southern hospitality and the food is great and more than reasonably priced. However, this is NOT a place you go if you're in a rush. Each time I've gone, I've always waited too long for simple coffee's even when the shop is almost empty. They do offer text-to-order service that I used for the first time (which, I understand can contribute to the volume even if the shop is empty) but even then, my simple order wasn't started until after I got there and paid for it. This room for opportunity doesn't impact my assessment of their great hospitality and quality, I just will probably not be visiting during the work week anymore.

Ok. I still believe in really great American owned businesses. And this one did not disappoint. What a really nice coffee shop. Great tasting Latte and a great atmosphere to enjoy it!! A must visit if you are passing by. If I lived close, it would be an addition!!! Be careful!!!!!

Great little hometown coffee shop! The atmosphere is nice, the WiFi is fast, and the staff is friendly and helpful... I ordered a latté and blueberry bagel, toasted and buttered. Not only was it beautifully presented, and tasted great, but they even buttered the bagel for me!

Tasting notes (espresso): Earthy, with a nutty finish. Low-mid accidity. Nice and mellow. Great for pairing with breads/pastries.

Always great service and friendly smiles at Essentials. The have a little niche selection of local art, jewelry, and some plants for sale in the store as well. Nice friendly atmosphere and very cozy. We enjoy our drinks and treats every time we stop in!

Best coffee I've had in years! And the breakfast bagel was tasty and the presentation was on point! Thanks guys! My tastebuds are seriously happy 😀
