Mingos Cookies & Bubble Tea

I'm a first time customer. Ill start with a positive.. I appreciated the customer service ...calling and informing me about the cookie issue. I had no clue the cookies were this big but I ordered 3 different types...just to see how they stacked up with other cookie places in Columbia. After spending over $4 a cookie... I figured these should be impressive... The only one we actually liked was the red velvet...and that one was just okay. I'm assuming the dough must all be the same basis..because all of the cookies had little to no flavor and the toppings were the only thing trying to help. I've never had a chocolate chip cookie that didn't taste like nothing. If you're going to charge this amount for your cookies...please taste them and make sure your giving the customer...the best experience for their money. Focusing on toppings while lacking the basics in flavor...will make others regret in spending their money.

Finally got to try this place. For a dessert shop it can get expensive if everyone orders something but it's different and good assortment of cookies and bubble tea drinks.
We got a coffee tea and we were not a fan but we still tried it.
The red velvet was a little dry but the Nutella, reeses and gooey were absolutely delicious!
Staff was so friendly and explained what were good choices.

My little one wanted frozen yogurt and we drove past Mingo’s so we had to try it out! I saw this place recently on google and had to try. We live on the opposite side of town so it was a perfect opportunity. We got the milk tea with tapioca pearls (also known as bubble tea or boba tea) and of course cookies (sugar cookie & the Cinnamon Toast Crunch cookie). Loved the cookies they were soft in the inside and crunchy on the outside, perfectly baked cookies! Can’t wait to come back and bring friends. The milk tea was also very delicious not too sweet and the tapioca pearls were so fresh. I’m a huge bubble tea fan and I have tried many places in LA and ATL and NC! Would love to try the other flavors.

Also the service was awesome and quick! They have such friendly state. We will definitely be back.

It’s a great boba shop ordered 4 drinks and all of them were good so no complaints and the one cookie I tried (banana pudding) was delicious! Just be prepared to battle traffic if going on a Saturday and it’s easy to miss via GPS if not familiar with the area. Nevertheless, it’s good, I’d stop back by next time I’m in the area.

Mingos Cookies is an amazing hidden gem in Lexington. With some very exotic-wonderful twists, they bring cookies to another level. The “Go Gamecocks Cocky” red velvet is simply amazing. “Nutella Overload” was one of our favorites as well. However, the prize definitely goes to the “Birthday Cake” cookie. No heavy traditional frosting here, just unique ways of making the ordinary taste extraordinary! We will definitely go back again and we wish the owner and team the very best!

Very clean and well kept. Polite staff and got my order quickly. Boba tea was 10/10. Love the flamingos and pink vibe. Store was eerily quiet though, would suggest some music or add more decor to give it a better atmosphere.

Really friendly staff! I just came in a few minutes ago and got some cookies for my boyfriend for our anniversary because he loves these cookies and they gave me a smaller box for his cookie and ribbon to tie around it! So cute!! Also omg the frozen pink lemonade boba is heavenly, I’ve been looking for an alternative to Starbucks’ blended strawberry lemonade because they’re always out of the purée, and I finally found it!! 🥳

Got an Ooey Gooey and S'mores cookie. Both were very good. I will have to go back and try more cookies and bubble tea! Definitely check it out!

The other cookie place was closed so we decided to take a Sunday drive to try the cookies here. It was awful. The cookies seemed to be reheated. They were hard. I did not request a refund because I always feel guilty doing so but I should have. The staff was very polite and informative. If I could give a zero I would. Please save your money. If you like several days old cookies give them a try.

Went in for cookies on my bday. Staff was friendly and even surprised me when bringing out my cookies. Got the birthday cake cookie and it was great. I'm not a cake person, so this was a great alternative. 10/10 recommend.
