We try to support local small business and decided to take a detour to visit this spot instead of going to Starbucks on our way to Hilton Head. Couldn't be happier. Fantastic staff and coffee. The owner was warm and friendly and gave us (visitors) tips on local fruit stands nearby. A fine example of southern hospitality.

Friendly baristas-owners, GF options & yummy coffee drinks. We had a mocha latte and dirty chai —both were delicious.

How delighted we were to find this coffee house today! Delicious vanilla cold brew and scones! Can’t wait to return to try more of their menu - beautiful, relaxing, charming! Wonderful service, too.

The mango scone changed my life! My daughter and I visited Mocha's Mug for the first time and had Cafe Au Lait, Iced Caramel Machiatto & scones. The mango scone was fabulous--slightly crunchy and sweet outside with a tender and crumbly inside. Get it when you visit! Drinks were perfectly balanced and you know ingredients are a good quality when a teenager notices a difference. Friendly owners, great environment and a wonderful coffee shop for our area!

Awesome coffee shop with fresh made quiches and scones. Owners are super sweet and attentive. The overall atmosphere is just welcoming and cozy.

I went in expecting a hole in the wall coffee shop with all the standard coffee drinks, industrial style seating and a get-in-get-out sort of atmosphere. But I was compelled to stay a while.
This is a traditional coffee shop with lots of charm. As you walk in you are greeted with a relaxed atmosphere, background music at just the right volume to fuel lively conversation or reading, and if you want, there's a cozy fireplace area with couches. A loft area is available if you want seating by yourself or with a friend or two. There are plenty of small tables, too, if you want to sit and have coffee alone while catching up with a book.
The menu had plenty of options from smoothies, teas and coffee and espresso drinks. I ordered a cafe au lait, a cranberry almond scone and a snack bag of peanuts. All options are very reasonably priced. (Actually, the franchise coffee shop with the siren logo charges more for their version of the same drink.)
My order was served quickly, and that cafe au lait really hit the spot. I'm going to tell everyone about this great new spot by the lake!

What a lovely place! I came here to grab a coffee and read for a bit, and it was wonderful. Greeted with smiles and conversation, plus cozy seating to sit for a bit! I will definitely be coming back in the future!
