This is a nice upscale grocery shop that also provides some tasty breakfast and lunch options.

My husband picked up some glazed yeast doughnuts from Lowcountry this week, and they were still hot, fresh, and dripping when he brought them home about 5 minutes later. The doughnuts are sold in orders of 4 for around $6. That is a bit pricey per doughnut, but I found it completely worth it! Also for breakfast, my husband tried a sausage and egg biscuit and loved it.

We also visited for lunch on the seat-yourself open-air patio. I ate a delicious BBQ burger, and my husband ate a shrimp po boy with homemade chips that he enjoyed. My husband was also excited to find bottled cream sodas available.

My aunt ordered a strawberry shortcake for dessert and said that it was delicious and that the "cake" part was fairly hard (like a rice cracker).

The service was a bit slow, so my 10-month old was a bit antsy by the time the food arrived, but the service was exceptionally friendly and we were able to entertain him nicely since we were outside!

Breakfast and coffee are above average and the staff is super nice. I'll be going back for sure.

We were seated relatively quickly, but this place was way too overpriced for the food that we ate. The food was okay at best and it took forty five minutes for everything to come out. If you’re looking to go somewhere afterwards I would suggest planning for a long meal here.

Waited 15 minutes at host stand, passed by 4 employees at that time and no one said anything. Server then rolled his eyes when we asked for silverware--food wasn't worth $20 a plate either. Huge no!

Lowcountry = no service

We waited 30 minutes. They brought over 2 cups of water but never came back to take our order. They only have six tables in there, so it's not like they are super busy. That was our first and last time in there.

Best breakfast in sea pines. Really fresh and good country. Cheese grits are awesome. Check out the art for sale whilst your visiting.

Absolutely the best place to eat in Beaufort! Lovely bright restaurant with old world charm. Great food with the best & freshest ingredients. Friendly staff!

My daughter and I biked to the Sea Pines Center to drop some postcards at the post office and visit Frosty's. Upon arrival at the Sea Pines Center we discovered Frosty's was closed and decided to try some sweet treats at the Lowcountry Produce Market and Cafe. We walked up to the register and two female employees were talking and counting money. We stood in front of these employees for approximately two or more minutes without being acknowledged. I decided waiting that long without acknowledgement was a sign to leave. Based on this visit I would not be inclined to visit again.

One of our favorite places year round!

I was happy to find that they have sugar-free syrup! The pancakes have powdered sugar by default though. Oh well, still my favorite blueberry pancakes on the island! :-D
