Horrible experience the past few times we’ve tried to visit. It hasn’t been open, even though online listed the hours. Tonight we walked in at 10:05 (online hours til 11) with 4 groups (18 people) and were turned away. The man behind the counter was EXTREMELY rude. “No way We’re closed” as he turned his back and walked away. Never again. We walked a few blocks to the Marble Creamery (friendly and helpful).

Must stop while in downtown Greenville! Whether you are looking for a quick pick me up, a nice coffee to walk the suspension bridge with or need to sit and sip while on your computer, Spill the Beans is a must stop. Try the Mexican hot chocolate, I get it with a shot of espresso!

Great place and seemed super nice, was busy the entire time I was there which usually wouldn't be a problem but the line was a good bit longer than comfortable. Coffee was great and the view was awesome!
Will definitely update my review once I go back(I will be going back) and try the ice cream!

Have been drinking the coffee here since I arrived in Greenville back in 2010. There is always a good smell here and plenty of room. Over the years, I have met with many clients and friends. Thank you for the ambience!

Made a special trip here at 8:30pm for some ice cream. We got a waffle bowl with vanilla ice cream and Reese’s Peanut butter cups mix-ins. So happy with our choice!

I am not one to be dedicated or motivated by a tea and coffee business but for Spill the Beans.. I will drive out of my way to come here!! It’s right on the corner above the Reedy Falls walking path- the perfect spot to just grab a cup of coffee or tea or a smoothie, or some ice cream and just sit outside over the falls or relax inside in the super comfy chairs. I notice many come here for business meetings, work here, it’s just that type of place.
Now I am incredibly picky when it comes to chai tea. I am not a coffee drinker so I cannot attest to any of the coffees except to say my adult kids all love them. But chai teas.. I am very critical of and I have to say Spill the Beans has the BEST chai tea I’ve had in Greenville, heck probably even since I left PA. The south just doesn’t make a good chai tea but these guys nailed it!!

My husband and I had high hopes. We wanted to try something new since the atmosphere looks nice inside and the seating. Also because they are open late which is awesome. We got a Vanilla iced latte. I wanted to get a treat something sweet but their was nothing to choose from. Their menu wasn’t that selective. I heard a couple behind me say the same thing and they left. We stayed to give it a try. I also looked at the ice cream menu I thought their was more flavors but it’s just chocolate and vanilla and then you can add toppings. It wasn’t really anything to rave about. It’s a shame they could really have done more, it’s such an awesome location and nice seating area inside.

This place is so cute! As soon as you open the door you can smell the fresh waffle cones for ice cream being made, they make them right up front so you can see the process, between that and the coffee smell, it's heavenly! We ordered the iced caramel macchiato and the cinnamon roll iced coffee and they were both delicious, no bitter taste, not too sweet, just perfectly delicious! Hands down one of the best coffee places I've been too. We also tried the Mexican hot cocoa, yum!! We didn't try the ice cream but I'd bet it's really good! The aesthetics of the building are really cool too, it's kind of dark inside, has plenty of seating and the staff is friendly. Great place, we will be back!

It is really frustrating to drive here from Spartanburg to work in the shop, just for it be unexpectedly closed. Yes, I know there is a Spartanburg location. But I specifically chose this one because I have a meeting in downtown GVL at 6pm and wanted to avoid the traffic. Please be open when your schedule states you will be, this is extremely inconvenient.

Good coffee with plenty of options (decaf & sugar free) but what a line on Saturday afternoon!
