Methodical Coffee

Methodical has always had the best coffee in the state, but the new location's food is unbelievable as well - heads off to the chef! The breakfast sandwich is hands down the best sausage and egg sandwich I've ever had. You can really tell that a lot of care went into, this is not your Average Joe sausage and egg. From the home made fluffy brioche-ish sesame bun, the incredible blend of herbs in the sausage, the white peppercorn mustard sauce (?), to the perfectly slowed cooked creamy scrambled eggs. Absolute top notch and it comes out quality every single time! Really something to be proud of.

Hands down the best coffee in Greenville. This location is great if you’re not walking the city and want to park or pop in for a quick coffee to start your day.

One of three of my go-to coffee places in Greenville for high quality coffee. I will be honest, I normally only go to this Methodical location. I didn't feel as welcomed at the other locations sadly. The staff here are great and the Common is a unique space with the different dinning options.

Very high quality coffee. A few unique baked items as well. Their pancakes are fab. My only complaint, I would love if they served bacon to go with the pancakes! That would be perfection. Their take on avocado toast is also delicious. You do need to like Thai basil though to fully enjoy. One day I would love for them to bring back real plates and real mugs. I am sure it is just a staff/COVID thing. Just elevates the experience.

The outdoor seating situation is very good. Nice selection of indoor seating as well. It can be VERY busy on the weekends. Consider using the mobile order option to help reduce the wait. Parking is okay as well. I don't know if that will change in the future after Unity park is finished.

My favorite place to get coffee in Greenville! Great flavor and well made. Only thing is I wish they would do half caff for their drinks. I'm really sensitive to caffeine but like to have some so usually opt for half caffeine at coffee shops.

Love love love their tres leches coffee. That’s one of the places where one coffee iced and hot tastes the same. I would drive half an hour just for their coffee. It’s literally the best in the area. I also love the commons. You can not only get coffee at methodical, but grab something to eat in the places around it.

Methodical never misses the mark. They always have incredible service and superior coffee (which, by the way, is roasted on-site). This location also has a menu you've got to try. I recommend their grits bowl which is sure to blow your mind! Order a coffee and some food, then head outside to enjoy it by the river. Love this place!

It does not take much to over run the one person at the counter. They are hustling, but it gets backed up quickly. Our group is looking for another place to meet because of slow service here. Good coffee. Just need to time your visit properly.

After waiting in line for over 20 minutes to order then waiting an additional 10 minutes to get my drink (iced chai with oat milk) they handed me what is essentially just a watered down glass of oat milk. Every other time this place has been amazing but todays experience really ruined it for me.

Service is always friendly and efficient.Breakfast sandwiches are the star of the show... unbeatable! Perfection!
