Coffee Underground

Love the atmosphere of this coffee shop (underground, mismatched tables and chairs, friendly, quick staff). Coffee was delicious (had cup of black and a peppermint mocha). But we were not impressed with breakfast— my bagel was old (dry) and the bacon in the breakfast plate tasted pre-cooked— the thin type. I’d come back for coffee but not food.

Came here to study and get some coffee, the environment made it super easy to do both. There’s usually at least 2 tables available, even when it’s super busy. The overall feel of the place is calming and has a prohibition/ speakeasy vibe to it. Only thing I will say is that outlets are very few and far between so I’d recommend making sure your devices are 100% before coming if you’re doing work for a while.

We grabbed a slice of cheesecake, coffee, and a draft. Nice visit. Will return

What an adorable coffee shop! I'm in the area for business and needed a pick me up and love they have a ton of different options for fun coffees! I will def be back later this week

In a world full of starbucks I just love the quirky vibe of Coffee Underground. Strong brew, friendly staff. I'll be back!

I only dropped in for snack and some coffee, but both were great. Being in the basement adds a unique feel to the whole place and the Classic Cafe Mocha was great. Sweet chocolate flavor initially with a nice espresso follow up. Not too foamy. Smooth overall. Had a brownie with a cream cheese icing filling and chocolate icing on top. It was delicious.

My only complaint was that it was cramped but it was filled/packed so not unsurprising. Line moved fast for a coffee place.

Overall, got a ice drip coffee medium, medium cafe Mocha, and brownie for ~$10.

Just got a couple lattes. It's was a little busy which is a good sign. The service was great and the coffee was better. 5 out of 5.

In spite of the renovation there is a cozy and relaxing vibe. We look forward to seeing it finished, when we come back to visit.
