Bex Cafe & Juice Bar

I visited Bex juice bar and I had the Glowing Green juice add kale , I also tried the Turkey Cranberry which was delicious.Emma is the Manger at this Location and she is very nice and outgoing !Great job Emma ! Bex your doing a great job for our downtown Greenville! Thank you

3 stars for cute interior, the food and coffee 1 star, the way i look at it McDonald’s serves better breakfast sandwiches. will not come and and do not recommend.

Bex is one of Greenville’s rare ACTUAL local spots that delivers on vibes, food and drinks. Food - big fan of the Bex sandwich, I never seem to get tired of the bacon, egg and cheese with cream cheese on a blue berry bagel combo! If you’re looking for something with some heat, opt for Megan’s Way! Coffee and juices are on point, the Mermaid juice is perfect for a hot summer day. Keep in mind this is a local spot where the lines can get long, so be patient, well worth the wait!

The experience is usually pretty good here but today I really wanted a fresh green juice. Looked at the time of closing and rushed to make it about 10 minutes prior to 2pm closing to be told the juicer is down for cleaning. I wish I knew operations shut down prior to closing before I made the effort to get here.

This is the 3rd time I've tried Bex because my office is steps away.. I've ordered a different coffee each time and all 3 have tasted the same. The seasonal flavors are barely noticeable (I've had smores and snickerdoodle) and the coffee just does not taste good. Also, my lattes have been cold 2 out of my 3 visits.

This is a side note.. There was one girl working today and she was pretty busy when I first came in. After she took my order the manager/supervisor/whoever was in charge came out of the office and YELLED that she should not stop making a drink order to take an order. Everyone in the shop stopped and looked up when the manager SO LOUDLY said this. A few moments later she told the worker that she was just trying to give her a tip.. but maybe the supervisor should've HELPED the worker during the busy time and then after the rush stopped and given her that tip? This doesn't affect the fact that I still think this coffee is bad, but I don’t like seeing poor leadership. And she embarrassed the girl.

TLDR: Cold coffee, flavors not noticeable in the coffee. I won't be returning to Bex lol

Great coffee! The muffins were good too - flavorful and not dry. Looking forward to try their breakfast / sandwiches next time. Comfortable seating and cool interior space!

great breakfast spot in walking distance to the park. They have healthy and vegan/gf options. Reason for the 4 stars...dogs are allowed. As someone who is allergic to dogs ...it's frustrating!! And the thought of dog hair in people's food .. not appetizing.

Friendly staff,Good food Nice vibes , Excellent juice bar but the coffee was Bad and I'm not talking Michael's Jackson bad either. I mean you're better off at a gas station paying $1 Bad! Lol I really love this place though obviously. I highly recommend. I would just steer VERY CLEAR of the coffee!! Also, the juices are HIGHLY inconsistent. I got the same juice blend twice and each time it was different. Theyve switched out some of their breads on sandwiches but didn't let the customers know until its on their plates..THEY DO NOT HAVE TURKEY sausage or bacon, so don't expect to eat a hot sandwich if you don't do pig or cow!!!! How do you not offer white meat options? Lol also FYI, I paid $16 plus tax on 2 small juices!! Cra,Crazy, right?! But,I have frequented this place to support Locally owned business. The prices are a bit high, but I do like the turkey cranberry sandwich. I unfortunately can't recommend the drinks because you just never know if it'll be good or not. Someday good, others horrible! I will rate this a 3.5. Its not the worst but not the best.

Great little coffee shop with a nice atmosphere. I come here to work for a few hours but lots of folks come to chat as well, since there are a few cozy places to sit. I usually get hot tea and a warm muffin both of which are good.

BEX is a must anytime we visit downtown Greenville. Black Gold is my favorite coffee. Great place to sit outside and relax.
