Wonderful owner. We just moved here and couldn’t leave our dog in the hotel so I brought her on a walk to get coffee with me. I was nervous about bringing her inside, I wasn’t sure if she was allowed. The owner himself gave her a pup cup and showed me the picture of his dog on the wall. Extremely nice and friendly people and the coffee was amazing!! I got an caramel drink for my husband, I don’t like caramel but the drink was so amazing I ended up drinking his!

Just a good coffee shop in downtown Columbia. One of this place's greatest merits comes from more than the coffee itself: the open hours for the shop. It's open very late for a cafe, something that only Cool Beans can match and surpass, though this place is easily better in terms of pricing (Cool Beans is wildly overpriced, regardless of how great the location and design of the building's interior are).
This shop is gorgeous on the inside, with plenty of seating and many windows, so light is always streaming in when the sun's out. There are a variety of seating options, and each individual at the shop will definitely feels as though they have enough space without feeling cramped.
So now, in terms of the coffee, it's good, but not necessarily great (if I could give this shop 4.4 stars or 4.5, I would). It doesn't particularly stand out, but it is still quite good. So while the coffee and the desserts/pastries are decent to good, the setting is great, and I very much recommend a visit here. Great place to study!

If you love coffee this is definitely nice spot to go relax and enjoy a nice fresh cup of coffee. I loved Greg's Favorite brew and the signature coffee was amazing. Greg is the owner very down to earth guy good conversation and very approachable. I would definitely be back

Absolutely loves this coffee shop. I was in town for a few days and searched for a coffee shop near my hotel. This one came up and was within walking distance. Some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. I came each day I was in town. Will definitely return in my next trip. I’ll try the tea the next time.

Great coffee and amazing food, the biscuits are perfect! It's a nice quiet Cafe where you could study, read, or relax for a bit. Great customer service aswell, if I lived here I would be a frequent customer.

Just wanted to give a shout-out to the main guy always working here. Today, he had two of his employees call out on him, making him a one man operation, and as you would expect, the line was backing up. When I got to the front, I expected him to be flustered, but instead he was calm and cool as always took a second in his hustle in bustle to ask how I was doing. In this day in age of not the greatest customer service, this guy is awesome and always has been since the day they opened. Food and drink are good, but it's my main man making the coffee that keeps me coming back.

Really good coffee. I got the lavender oat milk iced latte. The coffee was very good and not too sweet. Greg the owner was very kind and shared more about the founding of the company which I found very interesting. Can’t wait to go back!

The Imperial Black Iced Tea is the best iced tea in Columbia. So good! Sweetwaters is a great place to hang out or study -- clean, well decorated, tons of natural light. Greg (the owner) is a great guy and does a lot to support the UofSC School of Music (which is just a block away) and the university. Parking can be a little tricky there, but if all else fails with street parking there is a parking garage cross the street. There are some short-term parking spots up front but sometimes people camp out in those longer than they should.

Espresso done right! No sour taste, which is all too frequent in local coffee shops. Also the only place that includes a glass of water and doesn't have to be told not to use paper cups.
