Salty Nut Cafe

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. We were the first ones in the restaurant when they opened. They took out order and then an hour later came back and asked what we wanted instead of wings and told us they just put our ticket in while other tables had already been served, people that had been there for half the time that we were. We were there for an hour and a half and didn't get any food so we just walked out. I do not recommend anyone go there because the service is terrible. They were extremely unapologetic about the entire experience.

I work in the restaurant industry and although I am very genuine to any server that I have, this was the worst dining experience ever. It must have been our servers first day, absolutely no personality and it took thirty minutes to bring a Guinness to the table, when she finally brought our beer, they were so hot that sweat wasn't even coming off of the glass. The food was delicious I must say but I doubt I will ever go back and eat at the restaurant, I'll just order take out.

Any place with fried pickle chips is automatically a winner in my book. Give me a cold beer, fried pickles fresh out the oil, with ranch to dip them in, and I am a happy girl. My husband and I came here Memorial Day specifically for the fried pickles and they did not disappoint. We split a pitcher of Yeungling and sat at a high top near the bar.

Good atmosphere and great food. Love the service and it's close to where I work. Plenty of TV's and speakers they also give you a free bag of peanuts and the black and Bleu cheese burger is great so is the chicken Philly.

We were checking out Columbia for the day and chose this place based on reviews. However, we walked in and walked out. Smelled like a dirty bar and looked like a dirty bar. That makes me question the kitchen. We got the impression by the college location that it's probably a young college crowd that doesn't have high expectations to begin with. Lol. I would steer my college kid to go somewhere else.

This is one of my favorite places to go eat, drink, and hang out while growing up in Columbia! Awesome place to watch a game, eat some grub, or just sit in the sun out on the deck and put back a few.

As a student this place was great! Now that I’m an adult it feels dirty and service was ok the last time we went - it was also school season. The food was ehhh. Bathrooms were not clean!!! And paper towel dispenser was empty during my visit. Nothing to brag about on this place. It’s a college hangout no matter how you slice it.

Took my son and his family yesterday . They live in upstate near Clempson where , according to my son, everything is better than midlands. He was very impressed. Food was hot, portions were hefty, and grandkids loved the fried pickles.. We'll be back!

Fun place to grab a drink and some food. Food is good cant go wrong with a trip to the salty nut

I felt as if there was a bit of racial bias going on. Other customers were acknowledged and serviced before me and I was there prior to them all. I ended up just leaving and not ordering because I'm not going to spend my money were I can't get the service I deserve.
