Curiosity Coffee Bar

Cool local coffee shop with a great industrial aesthetic. Nice coffee. I stopped by to pick up an online order. It was quite busy I guess because no one at the counter ever greeted me. I sat down at the bar to await my order and even then I never got a Hello. Despite the great coffee, I probably won’t be back.

Found out about this place at soda city Market. I'm always looking for places with Vegan options, and they have a great selection! From baked goods, wraps, pizza bagels & drinks. The pizza bagel & chocolate banana streudel are amazing ! They have indoor and outdoor seating and I love the overall vibe. Definitely going to become a regular.

The atmosphere was good, food good, not real friendly but could have been a bad day. Will try again.

Update- we visited 2 more times - much better! Staff is super friendly and food is great. This will be one our frequent spots.

I can't say enough good things about Sandra and Greg, and the whole Curiosity team. I have absolutely loved having them in the neighborhood. They are wonderful humans who truly care about the community. Plus they organize great events, they always have amazing vegan options, and they make a great coffee. One of Columbia's best small businesses.

Pretty quick for lunch time and quite a good bit of people there. Finding seating might be hard.

Maybe the food could have been a bit more? Like a bag of chips too might have really made it complete, but it was already $18 for sandwich, coffee, and tip. Pricy but definitely really well made stuff. Not to mention local.

Definitely recommended, just more of a luxury.

Probably the best coffee shop I've ever been to. There is a wide variety of single origin coffees. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the atmosphere is open and welcome.

There’s a reason this place is always busy. They have the best oat lattes in Columbia bar none. The quality is on par with some of my favorite cafés in Seattle, and I love the slightly grungy vibe.

Not your typical coffee shop. This really DOES have a BAR! They have all sorts of beers and wines. The eclectic atmosphere compliments their stage where bands and special events are hosted {see their Facebook page).

I had the Mexican coffee and boy it has a slight kick to it, but it's goooood.

My daughter had a Ham, Cheddar and Cream Cheese Bagel Bomb and it was DELICIOUS. She said her Chamomile tea hit all the right spots.

My Wife had a Peppermint Tea and Ham and Chedder Quiche that cute and tasted amazing.

Gonna need to come back here.

Stopped in and was pleasantly surprise. The vibe has a nice buzz and everything was delicious. Strawberry matcha and chai was perfect, the coconut mocha scone was worth going back for.

I have only been here once and it was okay. I was expecting a lot more. I had been to their soda city market stand and I loved it and everyone was really friendly and the coffee was incredible.

Once I made it to their storefront, the staff wasn't very friendly or helpful. The coffee was okay but not as good as I've had at their soda city stand, overall the experience wasn't very good.

The location is really nice and I might have to come back again to see if it was just a bad first impression.
