Everything that I've ever purchased from here has been delicious! My favorite items are the red velvet petit fours & the pecan financiers. The downside is that they don't have a phone, so there's no way to find out what's being served or if there are any changes in hours of operation unless you live close by or have a Facebook account. Not everyone has a Facebook account.

Crust Bakehouse is a neighborhood bakery. They have fresh breads, scones, and pastries daily. They also have special items like German style soft baked pretzels, bagels, and bagel bombs.

The craftsmanship of their bread is initially apparent in the smell and appearance. The taste of all their offerings is a delight. Crust is a true gem in the Rosewood/Shandon neighborhood.

Bread is good. But I really wish you guys would make some breakfast sandwiches. Nobody else on rosewood makes them, except for Starbucks now, so now you gotta compete w those a holes.

You know, eggs, cheese, chives, and put it on that awesome bread you guys have. Grill the bread w some butter, etc.

Just do it lol. Experiment. Try it out for a week.

Best bakery in Columbia, never had anything bad here! My personal favorites are the cheddar black pepper sourdough and challah, but really everything is amazing! The pastries are to die for as well. And the owner is a great person, really can't recommend this place enough.

Crust has changed a lot over the years especially since its new owner took charge and unfortunately I find their bread very lackluster. The person who stands at the front is trained very poorly - they seem to know next to nothing about the ingredients or dietary friendliness of different items. They don't have very many vegan friendly breads or treats. The desserts are good. I used to go in once a week but now almost never because I'm most often disappointed. Sad, they used to be my absolute favorite.

Love love love this bakery! I used to live overseas where a local bakery was just down the street. I've missed that so much. When I found out about this place, I knew I had to stop by. Always a great trip when you stop by, and the smell of fresh-baked goodies is always enticing. I can never leave with just one thing. The semolina and cheddar black pepper loaves are two of my go-tos, but have you tried the Maker's Mark pecan tart?? Gotta have it. The daily selection is always changing and the staff rocks! What's not to love?
