Crave Artisan Market

Crave is our very favorite spot for lunch!! Every sandwich on the menu is unique and DELICIOUS!! It is certainly an added bonus that the owners and staff are so friendly and attentive!! This is a **must** for any discerning foodie!!

This shop has undergone several reinventions and changes in management since it opened a couple years ago, now serving sandwiches as well as some local groceries and goods. I would give the cafe part an excellent rating, but given that Columbia has a thriving local and artisan market (e.g., local grits, grains, meats), the overall selection of such products here is very limited. Other nearby shops such as Rosewood Market have far better selections.

This place has a lot of potential and their takeway cooler of pre made delights looks tempting. However, when we were here to eat lunch it was filled with a smoke that was really stinging to the eyes and they didn't have fans on to try and clear it out. I hope that my next visit can redeem this first one.

A bit of a hidden jewell off the beaten path in Columbia SC. Great home made everything, family atmosphere, very reasonable prices, and if all tables are taken (often the case) you can bring excellent food home.

The food is just fine, but seating and parking is limited. Also a bit pricey. Nice that they locally source ingredients, though!

The food is wonderful. I like the shabby chic decor. The menu is unassuming yet when you taste it you’ll come back again and again for lunch.
