This is my go-to coffee shop to work on my laptop and read. On nice days, my dog and I enjoy their beautiful patio too. The same customers are there time and time again, so it feels like we have a little coffee shop community. Also, I love that it is a local business and not a corporate conglomerate like Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts, etc.

I met Adam, the owner. He knows his coffee and has a compelling vision for transforming this place into a destination coffee spot in Charleston. I judge coffee shops on their pour overs, and mine was excellent. If you're looking for an up and coming coffee shop in a great location, check this place out.

Each time I go to Classic, either with a friend or alone, the coffee is delightful. Not only are they friendly, the coffee is quality. It is hard to find a good cup; but Classic stays true to their reputation in our community. Support local!

Loved my honey lavender latte!!

Craft barista here, visiting Charleston, this might literally be the best coffee I ever had. This guy knows his stuff, drip coffee, espresso drinks, cold brew-
Everything was dialed into the closest to perfection most coffee gurus strive for. Dead a**. I’ve never been impelled to post a review before.

Best coffee in town. Adam and staff take great pride in not only the coffee they serve but in each and every customer. He offers a wide array of different roasts that he personally roasts in the shop. If your serious about your coffee, do yourself a favor and drop by Classic Coffee - you can thank me later. :)

I came upon Highfalutin Coffee Roasters by happenstance today while waiting for my rear tires to be replaced at Gerald’s (they are great - five stars). The first barista I spoke with was friendly and recommended “The Dandy” which is an iced espresso with honey? Or something? I don’t know a lot about coffee but it was delightful. I sat outside on the patio in the unusually warm January weather and got some work done. The patio is surrounded by flower boxes which could use some TLC (I am happy to help - it’s what I do for a living). I went in for a second drink and a scone (cheese, very large, perfectly warmed) and a second barista recommended to me the honey lavender iced latte to which I said, “Yes.” I am drinking it now and thoroughly enjoying it. Well done Highfalutin! Call me about the flowers.

I am not really a fan. I don't like the dim lighting and the seating is limited. It goes for a fancy, modern look but serves cappuccinos in disposable paper cups. The cappuccino I had on my two visits was nothing special. This place lacks the character that Gala across the road has!

This coffee shop is a great place to pick up coffee or to come for a cup and have a business meeting, date, or post up and study. There is plenty of outdoor seating and limited indoor seating.

Homey, comfortable little spot. Baristas we're very helping me pick out something on my first visit. The coffee menu was simple and they're forward with suggestions!
