This place is a must for coffee or just a calm morning with friends and a quick bite. It is my favorite coffee shop in town! My friends and I go at least once a week. They have so many flavors of coffee and lattes. Their avocado toast and pumpkin waffles are to die for! The staff is always great too. I did have a bit of a wait for my meal one time and they quickly fixed the issue and took care of it. I'm seeing some reviews that say people aren't wearing masks, but that has never been a problem I have encountered. There are 2 empoyees who don't wear masks, but they also wear tags saying they have medical exemptions. Customers at their tables generally aren't wearing masks, but they are eating/drinking.

My husband and I were excited to visit this restaurant after looking online for some well liked places to eat in the area. Although I found the food and coffee to be fine, we both found the staff to be insufferable. The gentleman working the counter appeared to attempt to up charge every person ahead of us, while guilting them if they did not add any of the “extras” to their order. It appeared deceitful to list off every side option available without also giving them the markedly different prices. Nothing turns me off from a restaurant more than when there appears to be an obvious desire to deceive and up sale a customer.

To make matters worse we also waited for 45 minutes before receiving our order. We will not be visiting again.

I absolutely love going to different coffee shops- I’ve been traveling from Oregon- I’ve been to at least 20 coffee shops and this is by far my favorite. The dirty chai was delicious and the pulled pork sandwich was an unexpected, and well decided decision to order- it was mouth watering! Beyond the coffee and food, the service, aesthetic and chat with Ken about the history of Urban Brew made the detour to Charleston well worth it! Highly recommend!

I got a drink and food to go. Very cool vibe inside, made me want to buy all the plants. The pumpkin pie waffles tasted exactly how I wanted them to and I hope I can grab some more before the season ends. The drinks are always so good. So many flavor varieties.

The coffee is always great. The atmosphere is so enjoyable and the food always surprises you. I love the pulled pork sandwich, the brekkie and the acai bowl. The nitro cold brew is so amazing. Without any cream or flavoring it tastes like chocolate and has a wonderful smooth and rich taste! Love it.

I enjoyed my Dandelion Tea and the chair I sat in. I loved the Christian Jazz Cafe music and the owner was very pleasant. Will be returning for some, "Me Time!"

I asked for no Caramel flavoring just syrup and they put both in my drink, it was even written on the cup not to put the flavoring in!

Urban Brew is a great coffee shop! It has such a chill relaxing atmosphere that you want to stay all day. The coffee is roasted on site and delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. An absolutely wonderful place in Beaufort!

The barista is amazing. She knows her stuff. The coffee, the matcha, the strawberry starbursts drink and the breakfast sandwich everything was so amazing and the atmosphere is so comforting and homey. I love that you can buy the little plants and the little trinkets. It's just all an amazing experience.
