Herban Market and Cafe

the workers always super friendly and get our food out fast— i’ve never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes for my food :) also their chai is probably the best i’ve had

We stumbled on this little gem of a restaurant/coffee shop and found the pastries and coffee to be outstanding.
The negative reviews are puzzling, and we found the prices to be on par with any other restaurant. Further, anyone visiting the South should be aware that southern ice tea is ALWAYS sweetened! Kudos to the owner(s) of Herban Market Cafe for persevering through these times and putting out an excellent product!

Absolutely love this cafe! The food and coffee are fantastic. We come down to Beaufort every summer and Herban Market is a daily stop for us to grab breakfast and coffee. If you’re in Beaufort, this cafe is a must!

I am dairy free and my friend is dairy free. Last night we ate at her house so I brought cupcakes that Emily made I purchased 6 chocolate beet cupcakes and they were excellent! The whole process was easy. I picked them up the day of our dinner and paid for them then. Thank you Emily! It’s nice to know I can still enjoy treats on a dairy free diet.

Absolutely amazing! My husband had the tempeh blt. I had the Cobb salad with the BEST creamy dressing. We will definitely be back! It is difficult to find vegan places. This food was so fresh and flavorful!

Coffee was good the vegan BLT and vegetarian burger where not very good. Staff is nice.

We were celebrating a Birthday from out of town. Erin was exceptional in both communication and ideas for our unique situation. Our cupcakes were delicious! In addition, we tried a few other items upon arrival. The items were fresh and delicious! The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. We will be back!

Enjoyed morning coffee with Momma. Great atmosphere. Great brewed coffee. I had the India medium roast and a wonderful blueberry doughnut.

Try the chocolate eclairs! Their pastry chef is heaven sent. I was hoping to find tiramisu for my partner. The friendly counter staff said I can order it in the future with 48+ hours notice (the more notice the better). Great vibes in the shop and fabulous location on Bay Street. Perfect place to grab a light bite and go for a stroll.

A little disappointed. Didn't see much organic food although the website it had some. The overnight oats were way to sweet and the quiche was very salty and broccoli was ground to a pulp (literally). I also bought a power salad but haven't eaten it yet. Hopefully, that will be tasty and if so will update my review.

The place is lovely, however, and service was exceptional.
