New Moon Cafe

Not a place for straight people. They wave about a rainbow flag. The flag of this country is the American flag. Feel uncomfortable here. The owners response is pathetic.. They are getting political here. Politics does not belong in a place of business. I am taking my wallet elsewhere. The food reaches the heights of mediocrity. The prices are excessive so they can support their liberal, socialist agenda.

Good coffee, eclectic interior, walk up service, rustic atmosphere

Dropped in this morning as I was passing for a coffee, service was quick, coffee was good and the staff were pleasant. Inside has some interesting art works and a reasonable space to sit if you want. Tables are also outside for al fresco drinking or eating if you wish.

Phenomenal!! The food and staff we're amazing. They have combinations I would never have thought to put together but it works. I had the Jalepeno popper on sourdough bread and I chose the Nuttella Fairy on wheat instead of white bread with beets power juice that had all kinds of good things in it. That was just for breakfast. I went back for lunch and had the crab bisque with the Italian grilled cheese and those are the biggest chunks of crab I had ever seen in soup. To drink, I ordered the mango coffee cherry soda; at first I thought "interesting", but it works. Another customer was bragging on the chicken noodle grits so I bought some to take home, can't wait to try it. If I'm ever in Aiken again I will definitely be back. Great job!!! Oh and the newbie Josh was very helpful. I think he'll work out just fine, keep him, lol.

The food and coffee is great! A lot of the ingredients are locally sourced and the coffee is fair trade. They also have dairy-free options, like almond and coconut milk. I love the chicken salad and pastries!

The food here is excellent, I was very impressed with the flavor and it was also inexpensive. The smoothies are also quite delicious! From the outside you wouldn't thinkit has much seating but there is aample space and nice local art to look at and buy!!

Worst service.
My friend and I ordered a half sandwich (BLT) with crab bisque and 2 coffee items.
It took over 45 minutes!!!!
They charged us MULTIPLE times and it was EXPENSIVE. Mind you we got 2 half blt sandwiches with a cup of soup. And 2 drinks. It was over $40!!
The soup tasted like they made it last week.
And the customer service was Beyond poor.
The establishment wasn’t clean outside where we were eating.
And when they are having dine in, they never clean their tables. I wouldn’t eat here with covid going around. They weren’t exactly clean before. And I worked in restaurant service before so I know what it should be like.

Cool cafe wish good atmosphere, lots of options on the menu. Friendly staff. 4 stars because my chai tea latte was from a premade mix and was way too sweet. Would prefer fresh brewed tea like the coffee they serve.

I went here on Sunday afternoon, arriving 10 minutes before the store closed and ordered an espresso drink. The girl behind the counter refused to serve me. She said she had already cleaned the machine. I argued back that they were still open but turning business away. She still refused service. My husband and the person in line behind me also wanted an espresso drink. I haven't been back since.

I love New Moon Cafe. Their coffee is amazing and the chocolate and blueberry croissants are LIFE!!!!! The service is really amazing, and the employees are super sweet!!!!! I would recommend getting the Cafe Mocha. That drink is heaven in a coffee cup.
