Some of the best service we’ve ever had! Everyone was extremely friendly from the moment we walked in the door. Our server, Lilly was absolutely perfect. “Hello friends!”she greeted us, and we felt like she really meant it. She is really a gem. We had about five different people serve us and each one was great. The food was also amazing, with generous portions and great flavor. The coffee was DELICIOUS. The only issue we had was undercooked chicken in the Caesar salad, so watch out for that. But otherwise, an incredible experience and will be back. 💛

Wicked busy, wish they had reservations. But the food is great, the service is superb! Very clean and love the decor!

First time, came to have brunch with family , we recieved our food our meals were over cooked our homefries were hockey pucks , bacon was overkilled ,our eggs were over cooked an fried pancakes undercooked 🤷♀️. Found out it was almost closing time we arrived at 1:10. I love food and trying new places, nice atmosphere but if you want well done over cooked food and barely any service this is the place to go..Id Recommend The Village Cafe in Chepatchet RI.

Good, not great. Friendly people and refreshing atmosphere however the portions are smaller then most places, and prices are a little higher.
After ordering the He-man I was surprised to see sausage 1/4 of the size of most places, and rather small (6") pancakes. 2 shriveled pieces of bacon, 3 eggs were fine home fries were also good but I usually cant finish this meal at most places and I finished this with a little room left over.
Wait time was 27 minutes for the two meals we know since we had an event afterwardsthat was time pressing.
My wife ordered the house omelet which was more of an open face frittata with under cooked vegetables. They were crunchy and simply not cooked anywhere near enough. Her onions asked with her homefries were also not cooked. No caramelization color or flavor.
She surprisingly said something to our waitress as she never has, and her reply verbatim... "that's the way we make it, you should have asked for the vegetables to be cooked first ".
We did not realize we'd need to have a sit down with the cook for our meals beforehand to insure they knew how to do their job. It's simply common sense with experience on how to cook things properly, not as fast as possible.
It's really too bad. We tried to like this place as we're local, and have been to the previous location for years, but with other local breakfast places caring more, costing less and providing better quality food with larger portions, I do not see us returning any time soon.

I drove 30 minutes to come eat here cause of some pictures on fb that looked amazing. Ended up wanting to try the cinnamon bun French toast but they were all out. If you have something on your menu, you shouldn’t be out of it. Especially if it’s just a breakfast place. Disappointing but then got the cherry cheesecake French toast. Even more disappointing. They didn’t use fresh cherries so it had that artificial taste to it. It overpowered the the French toast and cream cheese and made it nasty. Probably would have been better with fresh strawberries. I also got home fries and the other person in my party did as well but asked for them to be well done. When she got her fries they were an entirely different potato and had no seasoning on it. We asked the server but she said they were the same fries as mine. They 100% weren’t and you could tell just by the color. I wouldn’t come here again. Not worth the drive and disappointment.

I went 5 years ago when I was younger and the food was amazing! Even after the fire and having to relocate they have kept up their excellent standards! Their portion sizes are VERY generous and the pancakes were yummy. Most items come with toast and hashbrowns (the kind that are like diced potatoes). Prices was nice at about 7-10 per plate and you really get more than you may for! Service was wonderful and our waitress was very polite, casual and friendly. Thank you for breakfast!
