Coffee, tea, breakfast sandwiches and smoothie all very, very good. Freshly prepared. Hard working, kind and patience staff. First time there will not be ate last. Made our first day on the island get off to a great start.

Very quaint little coffee shop. Staff seem really nice, coffee was good. Glad to see they were open today since it's still off season.

Nice little cafe with outdoor seating area. I am a Plain Jane and had the bacon egg & cheese on ciabatta. The ciabatta was fluffy & delicious!

This is our first time visiting BI and we are so lucky to have found Persephone’s! The food is delicious, healthy, and affordable, coffee is tasty, and everyone who works there is just so lovely and very accommodating. I hate using disposables and they let us bring our own dishes for the meals we ordered, which a lot of places won’t let you do. That means a lot to me! The space is tiny but really charming, with seating both inside and out. We’re only here for a week but we’ve already been 3 times!

I would like to think of myself as a lover of cafes and breakfast joints and this may honestly take the cake. Starting with the people, because it is all about the people, this is a well run, beautifully set up staple on the island. I have never left without a smile on my face from the service and the food is truly special. Whether it be a simple tea, baked good, smoothie or something more substantial like a melt, sandwich or bowl, it always exceeds expectations. Truly one of the best menus you will see and a must stop while on island.

We love this place and have been going for several years. It's tucked away so you could almost miss it. I especially like the coffee based beverages, smoothies and smoothie bowls, as well as the baked goods. It's a fun place to sit outside, or in, and we have always met the most interesting people there.

Had the hibiscus lemonade, splendid egg sandwich and a brownie. My wife had thai iced coffee and ti penso sandwich. We both loved the food.

The splendid egg sandwich is possibly the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had in my life. Great iced coffee too.

Food was great! We had the Quinoa Rancheros, Lala Toast and Ti Penso Melt - delicious. I would skip ordering the matcha latte, it was diluted and too gritty. Iced latte was average. Blush smoothie was good although I personally don’t like the artificial taste of the white grape juice.
