Very nice and thank you. Coffee was freaking delicious thank you. Omelet not so great sorry 😣. Toooo much cheese! I did not taste anything else but cheese and not good sorry ☹️. Just cool it on cheese and that's the only thing I had. 💁♀️
Fast friendly service with good food. Huge burgers
Best burger we’ve had all vacation!
Great breakfast spot. LARGE portions. Pay with the QR code on the receipt if you wish.
Was a lot better several years ago.
A great place to stop and get a delicious affordable meal!
The food tastes like home and the customer service is impeccable! Truckers and civilians alike need to make it a point to stop here. I'm sure glad I did and will definitely be back!
I'm a truck driver for walmart was stranded in a storm and the people in this town are amazing. Food was great also. Owners daughter super nice. I know o can safely say us walmart drivers appreciate it very much. A must visit
This was a cafe while we were on the road home - breakfast was good and wait staff very helpful!
Didn't eat at the Cafe, it has a truck stop that was decent though.
After 17 hours of driving, our little ones deserved a break. Alas, Lusk seemed void of places for us and our kids to get our wiggles out - especially on a cold, November Sunday. Desperate to not have to make it to the next town before stopping, we found the Outpost Cafe and rolled the dice. And we were so happy that we did! First of all, their menu has a fun variety and is inexpensive! I gave up on paying less than $10 per person in 2022, but Outpost Cafe is standing strong. Second, the service was pleasant and fast. Could have just been our server, but I noticed that most employees seemed to be in a pretty good mood. That's always indicative of a nice workplace, especially mid-morning on a Sunday in the middle of Wyoming. Third, don't expect high quality cuisine. Although the food is yummy, my pretentious foodie friend would probably leave a 2 star review here because the toast wasn't sauteed in a truffle sauce or something ridiculous. But if you're a down-to-Earth American who appreciates the effort as much as the food, I think you'll have a good time here. The kids' menu is also pretty fun and serves up some big portions! Further, I spotted what I assumed to be a number of locals dining here and they were all lovely. Our kids had plenty of attention and smiles from the patrons and employees alike. And finally, although it was freezing cold I still took our son outside to run around before crushing his soul by putting him back in his carseat, and he had a blast walking through the old, rusted car bodies out in the dirt. Maybe not the safest place to let a kid run free, but a fun one to be sure.
Great small town breakfast spot where a truck driver or family can get a good home cooked meal. Thank you God Bless!
Stopped by on a cold snowy Sunday morning. We were met with a warm and friendly greeting . Our waitress was very friendly. The food was excellent. It is a stop we will remember long after we are home in New Hampshire. Our experience at The Outpost was a great way to start our day.
The staff was extremely nice. And the food was great for a reasonable price
The food here is so good ! Truck parking . Clean clean clean !!! Jennifer is a great waitress. Did I mention how yummy the food is ??
Driving through and stopped for breakfast. Eggs, home fries, toast and a ham steak that could easily feed 2. Clean, well run roadside diner. Very reasonable prices.
Nice place, the burger was HUGE, and cooked just right. Next I'm through that country, I'll be back!
The Stagecoach sandwich with salad on the side was really nice. Service was pleasant and good. Overall a great and good value lunch stop.
Awesome service, great food, clean with cute decor. It's rare to find a place that can cook French Fries the right way!
The place hits you like an oasis! The outside looks a little rough truck stop ish, but do not let that deter you this is a great family diner to check out with kid, wife, and a group. The food options are plenty, including a really nice salad bar. I would suggest stopping, slowing down, and enjoying some time in Lusk.
