Pleasant coffeeshop that's open late with some cozy booths to work from, with good wifi and plugs at all tables.
Poorly prepared coffee. Iced coffee tasted sour. Cappuccino was room temperature. Must avoid.
Cozy spot to grab some tea & read a magazine or book….or even type on the typewriter upstairs!

My husband and I sat for a couple of hours doing some work and enjoying delicious lattes. The hotel itself is very cool, and there is a separate area to sit and relax or do some work. This is a hotel lobby/gift and coffee shop, but definitely worth a visit! The reason we were motivated to write this review though is to praise the patience of the receptionist/barista! She is so kind to everyone who comes in even if they don’t return the same courtesy. The Anvil definitely hired the right person for the job and if we are ever back in Jackson, this is where we will stay.
This is NOT a coffee shop
This is not a coffee or a mercantile, it's a hotel. I went in to get coffee and charge my phone. The woman said there wasn't a place to charge a phone and I couldn't get a coffee because I wasn't a guest. I said you are referenced as a coffee house online and that's why I came in. She seemed confused and a bit bewildered like I had told her a mistruth. I thanked her for her time and left. But once again, to be clear, not a coffee shop.
Style over substance. Basic coffee, no idea what oat milk is and receptionist/barista has some attitude. Go to Wholefoods for decent coffee.
Super cute shop with lovely high quality goods. A great stop for a simple hot coffee.
I love it here. The staff are always helpful and the products are so attractive I can't help but browse as I'm trying to check in. These people sure pick great product. I want to buy every single one.
Coffee shop isn't open during covid

Barista tried to give me a medium cup when I asked if they had a medium roast. This drip coffee tastes like Folgers... Yikes
