This food was horrific, spent $40 on two coffees and 3 sandwiches. The coffees were bitter and flavorless, also were charged an extra dollar per coffee to get a single pump of French vanilla flavoring we couldn’t taste. The sandwiches were soggy and smelled incredibly like fermentation. You can see the microwaves they cook everything in right when you walk through the door. The chicken on these sandwiches was as thin as cardboard and tasted that way. Asked for a refund and was only retuned the money for the coffees which was $10 we used to get gas station coffee instead. Never go here for it’s a waste of every cent you spend.

First I tried to call and order but no one answered the phone. When we arrived, We ordered three cold sandwiches and was about a 35 min wait. I would rate the service as trying but inexperienced. Sandwiches were so so and my coffee was cold.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch. Friendly and courteous young men were working. Great atmosphere. I ordered the Prima Cobbler, which was delicious. My husband ordered the Italian Beef Su Prima, but didn't really care for it-not much flavor.

Ok so my mum has been going here for years on thursdays and recently I have been too we both look forward to Muffalatas on Thursdays but the last two times we have been disappointed. Last time it was all bread barley meat and chess and the spicy sauce on top then this time we went and the special sauce they put on did not have spice that is the whole reason me and my mum get the Muffalata is for the spice and it had none we were disappointed and sad especially for the price they used to be good but I understand because of the shortages but we may not be back for a while

Croissants were delicious but the Italian beef "piled high with peppers on a crispy bun" had 4 green peppers, no cheese, and definitely not crispy bread. :( We spent 80$ there overall to get home and not be pleased with sandwich results. Wish I could include the photo. Vanilla cappuccinos did not taste anything like vanilla and frankly we're not good. Cold sandwich was the best, but asked for no tomatoes and still got them. They had multiple signs up for 15% off freezer items. We purchased 2 frozen desserts and did not have discount applied. Gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the guys working were friendly.

Been coming here for the best cup of coffee for over 10 years. Always enjoyed the atmosphere and the people. However, your barista doesn't know how to make a breve, doesn't even know what's in it. Perhaps maybe you need a new barista. Worst cup of coffee. Taken from a pot made with milk. Won't be going back if you can't better train your employees. I understand being new at a job, but leaving someone out there not knowing what he is doing is really not a good plan.

Located in a charming area downtown. Love this place! Has 3 tables outdoors and limited seating indoors. Coffee, desserts, breakfast bakery, soups, and a wide variety of sandwhiches...all fresh and from scratch! Both of our choices were great! PLUS frozen meals & soups! Always a stop when driving through Wausau.

I’ll begin by saying that this is the first time I’ve ever felt compelled to write a review about a negative restaurant experience, but the entire thing is so blatantly disrespectful that I just had to speak up. This is the first time my partner and I have ever been to this restaurant, so we were excited to try it since there are so few bistros/sandwich shops in town. The food itself was delicious—no complaint there—but a mishap with my drink is what bothered me. I order a Sweet Raspberry Iced Tea from their menu. It had a deep enough color that I definitely assumed it’d be sweet when I tasted it, but it tasted exactly like iced water with no more than a hint of distinguishable flavor. I took a few more sips thinking it may have just settled to the bottom, but no. We finished our food and I went to the counter to request a bit of sugar or a couple pumps of raspberry syrup to flavor it after waiting a while in line for the other customers—explaining that it tasted like ice water—and that I was okay with whatever she thought was best. She took the drink and doused it with a ton of sugar then topped it with at least five pumps of syrup before handing it back to me to try. She did it in such a manner that it seemed like malicious compliance just to get me to leave. I tried it, and unsurprisingly it was the sweetest thing I’ve ever tasted. It was only a 20 oz. cup. If I were a business owner, I would’ve simply given my dissatisfied customer another drink of their choice that was equal or lesser in value price-wise instead of making a scene in front of myself & the other customers about it. I understand that inflation is high and resources aren’t cheap, but I think the cost of losing business is much greater especially over something so small like this. I couldn’t wait to leave this place, and I’m never going back

I used to love love love coming here for the fresh salads and delicious soups for lunch during work. Last few times there’s been mishaps where I would have to mention something but today… I give up. Cheese was becoming liquified (I didn’t have a creamy dressing) and a few tomatoes had fuzz. :(
