Cozy place to do homework and reading, employees are friendly. Be forewarned, they don’t make their own cold brew. When asked if they had it, they said they wouldn’t have it for a week… The chai tea was average so a decent staple, but the breakfast sandwich was sub par.

I love this place! Locally roasted coffee, brewed perfectly in a women owned establishment. Everything I've tried has been fantastic. The service is fantastic. The atmosphere is fantastic. The vibe is completely local. The shop is filled with local art that includes paintings, woodwork, photography, books, music, and more. I've never been more impressed. And everything is so clean! If you haven't tried it already, run out and do so now because you don't know what you're missing.
No matter what time of day or who's working Im in and out in about 6 minutes. Fast and friendly service, easy to read menu. Plenty of seating.

My first time going. Everything cozy and clean. The server was nice. But I ordered a hot cocoa and it was not tasteful. I barely tasted cocoa. It was very bland.

Empire is a very relaxing place for coffee. I love the photos by Joe Polecheck. The staff were very nice young ladies. This is the first time I have been here, and I will definitely be back.

Reviews were good so we stopped on our way out of town. Must have been an off day as the coffee wasn't very good at all. If I owned the place I'd get rid of the old espresso machine that is collecting dust by the bathrooms and clean up the space as it has great potential.
My favorite matcha in the twin ports area! Awesome baristas as well. Grace is always great
One of the best hot or iced Americanos that I've had. Always very friendly.
